Did you know that Olam International, one of the world's largest agri-business multinationals with revenues of over $26Bn, was founded in Nigeria by Indians in 1989.

I wonder what Nigerians were complaining about back then or what excuses they were giving. Decades from now, we'll hear of more Lebanese/ Chinese/ Indian multinationals founded in Nigeria today, while Nigerians do nothing but complain and blame government.

While I am not holding brief for Nigerians, as we have our own share of the blame.

I have to say
That the prevailing conditions of the indians you see coming here then and now is very different from your typical Nigerian

Like I always say
Once you are stuck in the cesspool of negativity

You are already handicapped
However
Who I really tackle are the supposed "elite class" and rich men (actually rent seekers in disguise) in Nigeria

With all that money
No productive ventures
Just hotels, bars and real estate undecided

Apart from Dangote group and a few others
The rest should be ashamed

That's why its imperative to read through and assimilate in totality, the content of a post before rushing to draw up conclusions.
...common sense means that u should ask questions or tweak ur post at such, if the context of a post appears unclear, but not draw up non-existent inference. wink cheesy grin

On that word in bold, have u also considered that there's also a possibility that even UBA may declare less of a dividend by 2020 YE than that of previous yr guidance?
Perhaps u should tell us if u were aware that UBA would pay less than the 20k interim of 2019 after its superb Q1, 2020 report? ...or maybe that ACCESS will maintain its interim from previous yr after its Q1 report.
Or maybe u should tell us(backing it with financial Nos) if UBA is currently better than ACCESS in view of their just released H1 report.

Pls always strive to understand the context of a post 1st... from there, u might now begin to better apply common sense with assigning the 2nd part of ur post in bold.

Not sure if u truly understood the essence of that post u quoted.
Read the post above and try to reason through that part in bold.
But if u still don't get it, then am sorry, I can not help u.

''I slowly came to see that though I was becoming a diagnostician I could not be a prophet. When I examined a stock and found it strong, all I could say was: It is healthy now, today, at this hour. I could not guarantee it would not catch a cold tomorrow. My educated guesses, no matter how cautious they were, many times turned out to be wrong. But this did not upset me any more. After all, I thought, who was I to say what a stock should or should not do?''

Looking at my charts: Brent has entered into a bearish vortex.

There is a high possibility of Brent going below $20. If it goes towards the March low of 16, then all oil producing countries will battle with revenue issues, currency crisis, social instability.

Something should cause Brent to spike and rise rapidly after touching the low. Is it a war? Who are the parties in the war? I don't know. But if oil falls low again, a catalyst will force it to rise very fast.

No. Apparently they know each other offline or more likely online brocode at work.

Oracle meanwhile gets his own share of dissenting views but deals with them maturely by making further relevant points and laughing it all off with banter. Oracle accepts some defeat or correction too and in good mature way. During a certain Chess game talk here it was evident. But Sinclair can't bring himself to do that. He would rather say you are right in a mockery way and repeat that severally.

I think there are powerful underG people wey no want DT. Even DT dey use im mouth talk am. So they want his presidency to be with a negative record (2 crashes in a year, many deaths due to covid, allies running away, US citizens banned globally and ultimately collapse of USD). No doubt, foreign stocks are great form of diversification. But once you enter at a high, you are in for a severe capital loss.

If you already have a mandate with them and you buy more units with the same CHN you don't need to do anything the mandate covers everything automatically. If it's different CHN, you can send a mail to Africa Prudential registrar informing them of the new purchase and authorizating them to apply the existing mandate.
