Jamb is where the failures of Nigeria as a country starts, why must everything relating to jamb be so stressful? So the people at Jamb did not put into consideration that some of the aspirants must surely one way or the other lose their phones and sim card? There should be multiple ways to do something so simple as change of course but the dull people working at jamb would obviously never think of it. |

itzzkhaliii:Check the email. To change course, they only need the profile code to access his profile. You were only asked of the telephone line because the text msg was sent there. |

Go to the nearest Jamb Cbt centre, they don't even need your phone number for change of course. They will change your course/institution when you pay #3.5k, which is #2.5k for remita payment, then 1k for miscellaneous. You only send a code when registering at the initial stage. All they will ask is your Jamb Regular No. and the preferred course you are changing to. I sure say you never reach the Jamb Cbt Centre sef. |

itzzkhaliii:You can use,..the option to access jamb profile page either phone number or email address...provided during your registration.. Or you visit Jamb office in your region. You face this challenge of welcome back pack.. because you are not a street boy.. With #500 that will be fix and forgotten.. Affidavit and the rest are long process... Any Agent should be able to fix this.. Goodluck to you Jonathan |

The only option here is to wait till next year because sincerely you can't swap that sim..If you push your luck too much, you can be arrested and sued for impersonation and sim theft. It is only the picture on their database that can be used to swap the sim.Shikena. I also felt nearly the same thing, mine was my date of birth but luckily enough I got it swapped. |

This is a serious issue. but during the registration excersise jamb said candidate should used their personal Sim to do the registration at cbt center. I also learnt that those that did bypass, change of course or institution without Otp from jamb, that jamb had revert the change back to it previous. |

Let him retrieve the sim; provided he is the one that registered the sim if not let the person that registered the sim retrieve it |

I encounter same issue with Airtel last week when they sent me message to go and update my sim to 4G, on getting there the name on the system is different, they just re-register me afresh. May be because yours is sim lost and is MTN? |

Before they do reply mails, but now they don't anymore. But you can still give it an attempt by login to his jamb profile and complain or let him go to the nearest cbt center and tell them he wants to make a complaint. While making complaint don't forget to provide the number you want them to change too. itzzkhaliii: |

There is a page in JAMB where you can report personal issues that you may have. You will need your registration number and other details. Just explain your problem, JAMB will get you a way out. There is always a way out of every problem. You only need to discover it. |

University is meant for serious adults. If you don't have the balls to use your own phone number and details to register for it, then maybe you are not brave enough to face adult life. Go and do the JAMB again. You will be more matured on your next attempt. |

Rush to jamb office, your registration details are with them and you can change the Sim card you use in getting informations there. Next time, always go to MTN office to do your sim registration, pre-registered SIM cards is now a crime as criminals buy it in bulk for the aim of scamming people. Take caution next time please. |

From what i can understand from this issue, we need to be realistic with ourselves. This UTME registration just came with a whole lot more baggages. ITEMS NEEDED FOR A SUCCESSFUL UTME REGISTRATION. 1, Money for UTME scratch card. 2, A new small phone. 3, A new and fully registered simcard. ( i will suggest that the sim is bought at a friendship centre) You will need to keep the phone in a safe place and recharge the line with small credit from time to time. Also make some calls with it to keep the line valid. But do not take it out with you for fear of loss. |

itzzkhaliii:Go to any business centre in Kaduna tell them you want to do change of course they will log into his jamb profile using his email address and password, initiate the rrr payment and give him to pay or pay for him, then give him the payment receipt to go to CBT center and change. |

The best thing to do is contact IT support at JAMB.. you should have the access to update your profile by using a Sim or number that you have access to. |

itzzkhaliii:If he wants to change his course and institution, why don't you log in his JAMB CAPS for Correction of Data. I think with that, you don't need phone number just your email and password to login and do your correction by paying with your ATM card. It is something you can even do on phone sef.... |
