Before they do reply mails, but now they don't anymore. But you can still give it an attempt by login to his jamb profile and complain or let him go to the nearest cbt center and tell them he wants to make a complaint.

While making complaint don't forget to provide the number you want them to change too.

thanks a lot Sir, i have done that on friday and they said they will reply via his mail, while i will go to the CBT centet later with him.I appreciate sir

Saw a scenario like yours, only it was Airtel. And the Airtel officials told the individual to re-register the sim anew with an affidavit of course. Shouldn't have been a hard case as long as one can provide evidence of using the sim frequently but I guess because the sim was stolen is why they are giving you guys a hard time.

Why not try and meet with the manager at the MTN office & explain things, maybe they could suggest a solution.

If that doesn't work out, try the jamb office again, At least a valid email was used. Explain rigorously.

If it's all futile, tell your bro, it's not the end, just not his turn yet. He should prepare for next year. With no mistakes this time.
he is looking for elders advice and you talk like one of them, well done.

Did ur brother u use dat ur mother sim to open his email ? .. If No, then text "RESEND" to "55019" using thesame sim he use to create the email he use for jamb registration.. He whould be charge #50.. Thank u

Jamb needs to get rid of all this useless procedures... Don't they even think before implementing it? How can you make change of course/institutions that complicated

If he wants to change his course and institution, why don't you log in his JAMB CAPS for Correction of Data.

I think with that, you don't need phone number just your email and password to login and do your correction by paying with your ATM card. It is something you can even do on phone sef....

thanks a lot Sir.I will try that

But somebody writing jamb should own a phone even if it's small Nokia torch.
He's already through with secondary school and about to enter uni, why can't they purchase phone for him? I reiterate "even if it's Nokia torch".

You can use,..the option to access jamb profile page either phone number or email address...provided during your registration..

Or you visit Jamb office in your region.

You face this challenge of welcome back pack.. because you are not a street boy..

With #500 that will be fix and forgotten..

Affidavit and the rest are long process...

Any Agent should be able to fix this..

Goodluck to you Jonathan

This was before o... Sim swap can't be done at roadside anymore

University is meant for serious adults.
If you don't have the balls to use your own phone number and details to register for it, then maybe you are not brave enough to face adult life.

Go and do the JAMB again. You will be more matured on your next attempt.

I'm surprised! The brother will still do his clearance and collect matric no for him.

There are people doing sim business people that do the welcome back like this. Visit any local mtn agent selling sim card at your environment. Definitely u will meet one that will do it for you. Thus they charge at the rate of 500 or 1000.
Thank me later
Not anymore.
You can only do Emptyhen sim swap @Emptyhen office

If u tried everything and it doesn't work then am sorry ur bro has to stay at home one more yr.

thanks a lot Sir i will do so maybe by Wednesday or tomorrow.

Go to the nearest Jamb Cbt centre, they don't even need your phone number for change of course.
They will change your course/institution when you pay #3.5k, which is #2.5k for remita payment, then 1k for miscellaneous.
You only send a code when registering at the initial stage.
All they will ask is your Jamb Regular No. and the preferred course you are changing to.
I sure say you never reach the Jamb Cbt Centre sef.
Thanks a lot Sir. But this is the old process they first thing they will ask you is are you with the sim you register for the jamb
Re: JAMB: How A Lost Sim Has Put My Brother In Jeopardy by kanyebaba1(m): 11:03am On Sep 14, 2020
We have to leave it till Tuesday, we went early morning when it was her turn for the swap she went ahead but one surprising thing is that the same sim that she bought and registered by herself 5- years ago turned out to be displaying a different person pix with details.

That's where real wahala start ooo, the Mtn agent told her that there is no way that sim swap will be done because it wasn't her pix in the profile. He told her that what actually happens was that the people she bought the sim from where just business men disguising themselves as Mtn agent, they are just after to sale their sim card in order to gain profit. They will offer you a registered sim as unregistered and take you through the process of registering as if that was the exact Time the registering is taking place.

Had the same issue with glo. Dragged them on twitter and the eventually asked for an affidavit claiming ownership of the SIM. Nb, this affidavit is a little different from declaring it is lost. I had my SIM with me and wanted to upgrade to 4g, just different picture and name. The eventually had thier different customer care lines call me till they resolved it.

The only option here is to wait till next year because sincerely you can't swap that sim..If you push your luck too much, you can be arrested and sued for impersonation and sim theft. It is only the picture on their database that can be used to swap the sim.Shikena.

I also felt nearly the same thing, mine was my date of birth but luckily enough I got it swapped.
thanks alot Sir

Thanks a lot Sir, but it seems you didn't understand what I am about to say.
To register for jamb in the first place one has to send a text to a particular number then he will received a code.

Now to change your course one has to send a text using that number choose the option of course change make the payment before going ahead with the change of course in his jamb profile.
Call the line and explain things to the new user. He/she just needs to forward the details he gets from JAMB to you
