As long as it's for your school fees / living costs, it's allowed under the T4 rules.
If there's no urgency for your tuition fee payment, I'd advise that you leave the funds till you get your visa.

Same day as your test but if your test is inconclusive and you need to be tested again, it might take longer depending on the circumstances.

Gloucester wouldn't be a bad idea if this is for full program. Derby is also around this amount. Cheers

The main applicant isn't the one applying, he has his visa already (and would have started spending his required funds on tuition / maintenance) so there's no need to show his own funds except the dependant just wants to have excess in the account; UKVI doesn't make this mandatory.

Funds recycling is another issue altogether. If UKVI suspects that this is the case for an application then, it will be an issue.

I applied September 2nd and since then crickets. I think those of us from August 25th to September 3rd have been in limbo. I am just a nervous wreck and I am still working in a customer facing role. This wait is really excruciating!
