I have to give it to PDP.
They are the ones who started and are still practising Godfatherism. Yet they were able to convince Edo electorates to vote against APC's godfarherism.

I believe as always, time will tell.

What is sure is that Obaseki is only going to spend the next 4 years paying back his new PDP godfathers and amassing wealth for his next political ambition while Edo citizen will as usual lament on social media.

This is not about parties but that politicians know how to play the citizens to dance to their tunes.

I am happy for him but when it is his time to come down let him allow Edo people to vote their choice. He should not make himself a godfather like they usually do.

Obaseki only switch to another set of godfathers, You can not remove or fight godfatherism in Nigeria politics �..... more money to found PDP next campaign. APC out of South-South.
