Oga despite all this your talk, Lagos is Lagos because of the collective input of all Nigerians. Just stop the chest beat.
Now let all those Nigerians go and put all their collective input into that Edo that's not Lagos.

Nope we are not. Lagos PH Abuja etc are nothing without their relative position within a HR rich and oil rich Nigeria. U are assigning Lagos an undue intrinsic value that isn't true.

Lagos is independent of oil and they are the first state to get their revenue higher than the allocation they received from the center. Abuja and Ogun state were the other two states that achieved that.

There is one thing that will work for something, the Human Resources you mentioned was due to the fact that Lagos gives environment for intellectuals to prosper and dreams to be fulfilled.

Facebook is building her second office In Africa in Lagos not because of crude oil, but because of the intellectual resources Lagos boasts of.

Delta by far received the highest allocation among Nigerian states but yet it is still not a viable state because they misused the opportunity presented by oil which is why you need to salute Lagos.

Mr. A can have 1million whole Mr. B have 500k. But Mr B might be more successful than Mr. A if he knows how to manage it better than Mr A.

Majority of those easterbull blpeople are bloody hypocrite. States like Delta, Bayelsa etc have been receiving hundreds of billions of naira since 1999 with very little to show for it, and being governed by the same party, yet they see nothing wrong in that, but if it's Lagos now they start getting erectuon. Awon oloriburuku gbogbo. They have even started jumping on top ondo election, they are now interested in election of Yoruba betrayals and traitors, instead of the fools to face their region and their fuccking boring politics that has no national appeal. Don’t mind them. They are foolish haters that don’t want anything good for the Yoruba nation.

They are what is called da bi mo ti da.

Abia state is a pigsty and a symbol of failure but they are fixated on liberating a more prosperous Lagos while leaving their Abia to total decay.

A pe ko te ye yin. You actually think all these outsiders attacking Tinubu actually care or give a toss about good governance or corruption? You forgot that, to them, you are a two faced, traitor, dirty, afonja bla bla bla, when they achieve their aim of getting power and putting their own there, you will become a traitor, two faced who can't be trusted. You will be the perfect definition of use and dumb. Ask yourself, in their own states, a single party has been basically ruling them since 1999 with no meaningful achievement but they say no reason to react or vote another party, but once it's Lagos, they all start having erection and start shouting Tinubu's name. You thin that is ordinary You better ronu jinle wella.

Lagos is an overhyped trash. It is among the dirtiest cities in Nigeria. The stink all over the place made me vow to never live in Lagos. There is nothing special about Lagos. Cost of living is high and standard of living is poor.

Money I will spend on feeding for a couple of days will end up being wasted on expensive transportation in Lagos.

So, why on earth will I want to live in Godforsaken Lagos?!

I guess useless tinubu know that and that's why he was so desperate to win Edo state.

Politics is a whole! It reflects on every fabrics of development in the states.

Obaseki was governor from 4years, what notable achievement worthy of envy did he achieved? Nothing, people just voted him back based on sentiments and propaganda of Godfatherism. Now the election is over, the people of Edo state will now know the reality and the future is pregnant.

Awolowo Godfatherism elevated Western region above her peers and built the first TV, Skyscraper, Housing Estate, and economic prosperity. Akintola came them campaigning against godfatherism while colluding with the North to tame Awolowo. After Awo was arrested on trump up charges of treason, what did the Western region achieved? Akintola couldn’t achieve much for us and we suffer for that action.

Tinubu godfatherism produced Fashola who by far is the most productive governor in Nigeria and he was even tthe poster boy that APC used to sell Buhari then to Nigerians.

Godfatherims could be good or bad tho:
There is godfatherism in Delta too with the likes of Ibori, but what have they achieved with it? Is Delta now a state to envy?

In Abia state where they want us to believe there is no Godfatherims what have they achieved? Abia is now a depiction of a failed state with infrastructural decay.

I will choose good godfatherism over un-Godfatherism a million time!

Statistics don’t support your assertions and I am not here to waste my time by comparing a prosperous Lagos to any god forsaken state you come from.

Life is expensive in New York relative to other American states and the amount you will spend to rent a small house in New York can be used to rent a whole building in other USA states. Does that stop New York glory? Cost of living is damn high there but you will make the money.

There are places that are dirty in New York while there are places you can call a ghetto in NY but does that stop her prosperity.

You will make you money in Lagos if prosperity come into your business and you will be able to beat the cost of living. So they balance each other to an extent.

All countries have their ghettos, but you measure greatness by the number of places that are actually better relative to the other.

GDP, economy, IGR, Entertainment, Banking, FinTech, IT, Industry, Ral estate, Prosperity index, Finance, Governance, and etc favor Lagos than any state in Nigeria and that is what you’ll use as metrics.

In fact if Lagos were to be a separate county, it will be the 5th largest economy in Africa!

Edo is not Lagos truly!

Like my friend Ngpatriot said!

—Lagos is Africa's 5th largest economy, not Edo state

—Lagos is Nigerians largest economy, not Edo state

—Lagos is Nigeria's industrial capital, not Edo state

—Lagos state is the entertainment capital of Nigeria and AFRICA, not Edo state

—Lagos is the home to the most intellectual IT resources not Edo state

—Lagos state is the corporate capital of Nigeria

—Lagos state is home to the largest single refinery in the world, not Edo state

—Lagos state is home to the largest fertilizer factory in the world, not Edo state

—Lagos state is home to the largest gas plant in Africa, not Edo state

—Lagos state is home to the Largest petrochemical plant in Africa, not Edo state

—Lagos state's IGR is 33 times larger than Edo state's IGR.

The list goes on...

Lagos state is not Edo state and Edo state can never be Lagos state or even be like Lagos state.

Edo state can not produce credible, competent and productive leaders like Lagos state so I don't see Edo state getting anywhere close to Lagos state, not anytime soon.
try and think well a little. All the mentioned above are not owned by lagosians hope you know that. When we said EDO NO B LAGOS what we mean is the mumu Lagos yorubas that have given themselves out as slaves to Tinumbu and not the industrialization owned by people who are not from Lagos. They gave themselves to Tinubu while Lagos remain prosperous and the best run state in Nigeria with GDP more than any state could offer.

You want PDP to rule Lagos so they can turn it to Abia state which is a symbol of pigsty failed state.

So lagosians should invite Obaseki to rule Lagos so he can run it down like he did Edo since 4years with nothing to write home about.

Lagos is not Edo and Edo CANNOT be Lagos.

If anybody need liberation you should go and help Abia state and save it from infrastructural decay and statewide pigsty environment!

Despite the fact that I admire Tinubu for his political sagacity and for being a founder and a leader of the party that produced the best President of Nigeria, I humbly advise he congratulate Governor Godwin Obaseki for his victory and the INEC for working hard to ensure the election was free and fair.

He's a role model and shouldn't waste any more time. He should put a congratulatory call through to Obaseki.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
