Hello Visa Family grin grin , please i would like to get diverse opinion from different experts.... please I outlined my plans some weeks ago for my mums visit visa.
So my mum started paying herself salary from her business account to her savings account this month...this was meant to carry on till february(6 months), then the earliest date of visa application would be March 1.
i had my first scan yesterday and i have just been informed that my expected date of delivery is april 1. i Would want my mum to be here before the date of delivery. making an application on MArch 1, i believe is to late as this doesnt leave sufficient time and room for unforseen delays.

i would like to make an application on february by this time, there would be only 5 months with the claimed salary from her business account. please Gurus what do you think is best ?? should i just proceed with only 5 months or can she make 2 payments for this month and claim that one is for august as there was a delay in payment by the business due to the pandemic (and still submit a 5 months statement but this time with the payment of august showing in september). Please Gurus what is the best way foward as i need to send the application in February.
Note- i will be sponsoring every expense for her trip, she will be making no expenditures.

also, she has been refused visa twice( i aim to address the refusals in this application, kindly view my previous posts if your do require further information).

will this affects airlines from flying.

If the strike goes ahead, then it's more likely flights would be affected. I am not certain anyway.

A court order has been put to effect to stop the strike.

My advice. Do not overcalculate anything. She already has 2 refusals so u should afford to take your time ok.
Do everything to the best of ur ability and leave the rest. If you could even proceed with 1 year payment i wud be happier ... lol.
U are too anxious, dont be ... u know ur condition.
And even if she comes after baby is born, the important thing is her presence. Wish u the best

I know quite a few that were returned at port of entry for this reason. The last being yesterday.

Brightingsus:

Yes, that is correct but the reason for coming to the UK becomes defeated. What is the point of booking a flight, coming to the UK to be bound by the walls of a house for the whole of your stay? You get to POE and you are asked why you have come to the UK, what do you say? They ask you where would you isolate, what do you say?

A court order has been put to effect to stop the strike.

They are unlikely to obey the court order.

The question is : will TLS still operate?

Why wouldn't TLS operate? Isn't it a privately held company?

If you planned to stay in the UK for 6 days, add 14 days to it totalling 20. Your business should be after the 14 day period.
pls oo, with this 14days isolation period, where will the applicant state that he will be staying if going for tourism? will he state it on the application that will be staying in his already booked hotel or will he be provided place of isolation when he enter UK

Place of isolation is a measure geared towards limiting spread of the virus and will not ordinarily be on the application form. There is a separate online form you fill to provide your journey and contact details from 48 hours before you are due to arrive the UK.

For tourism, u might have to use your hotel should you not have family or friend to isolate at their place. You must remember the UK is serious with this and reports have it that visitors have faced serious issues at POE in the UK including being turned away.

People on tourist visa , am advising you not to travel now because 4 person I know and 3 I did not know where deported right at the point of entry last week.
Reasons for their deportation was hotel reservation. They did booked hotel for the intended numbers of days to be spent but ukba at the point of entry are now scrutinizing visitors by contacting the hotels , asking if the hotels can provide a special watch (security) on individuals in order to enforce quarantine. Unfortunately most hotels are not willing to guarantee that and that has been the reasons for refuse entry.
They also believe that hence public gathering are restricted to just 6 persons they doubted how a tourist will be comfortable .
If you have visa please don't go now

Im guessing the plane didn’t arrive with only the 4 people! So the rest that was permitted entry! What did they do? This only means you need to call your hotel before leaving! And uk needs to do something about the quarantine for people from Nigeria! Our covid numbers has reduced alot!

The people that were reissued unused visa due to covid, what should be their fate now with their fresh plans to travel? Common! Uk needs to do something!

The real numbers is not far from what’s being reported! You think if people were dying mysteriously or getting sick! You think the news won’t be all over the country? You can hide something like that in Nigeria?
