How many months' salary does this translate to? By standard, your expense for the trip shouldn't stretch over more than 2 months of your paid salary. Confirm this so you can get the advise you're looking for.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by omopapa: 8:37am On Oct 04, 2020
£15 is too small to spend on food daily

Put into consideration 3 square meal or at least 2 meals a day. It shld be atleast £30 daily

You don’t necessarily have to declare your expenses for tourist site, just say miscellaneous as it will cover site seeing and other expenses

So do the exchange rate to Naira using Oanda.com and the total should not be more than your two months salary.

Make sure your bank statement does not have entries you cannot effectively explain and that the salary you earn is constant not 420k in January, 250k in February or 300k in March. All the best.

Salary 420k - 98k monthly expenses = 322k disposable income

Ur budget shld not exceed 322k x 2 = 644k

Oanda exchange rate today is 494 but let’s use 500 to be on the safe side hence you have 500 x 1223 = 611,500 which is good

Good people,

I have a situation here and would appreciate your opinions/suggestions. I forgot to include my 3 days trip to Rwanda in my visa application. I only realized after I had submitted, paid online, booked my appointment and uploaded all necessary supporting documents.

What options are available to me to correct this anomaly?

Thank you.

Please Update Us When You Pick Up Your Passport

Hello everyone!
I just want to find out if DMC now sends refusal emails to every unsuccessful applicant or just some handpicked ones. My friend received a refusal email from DMC last week and then an email from TSL asking him to come to collect his passport. But, this afternoon, I only received a mail from TSL informing me that my passport is ready for collection (I didn't receive a refusal email prior to that). Does this indicate a success?

Personally, the budget is still high if it's your first application. You can keep flight within 450 or 460. There are very many free tour attractions in London like London eye, Buckingham palace, Trafliager square, St James Park and very many trekkable places around central London you can use to your advantage to reduce the budget; keep your budget within 900 and 1,000. How you present your case matters most, not the amount.

Why not check if they have any Nigerian bank representative where you can pay in Naira equivalent and your ticket is issued. I actually use BA and the USD equivalent sent to me via e-mail by BA and naira equivalent is paid through GTB and E-ticket issued to me.
Hoverboy27:
Turkish.
Fare is $2,346.
Want to book directly on the website not agent as I might make changes later.

Please I'm a student in one of this State University and I intend traveling to the U.K after pandemic. My budget is £1,100 for the trip. Please is it advisable having a little bit above proposed budget in my account or x2 of my budget. I can still work towards having £1300 - £1400 legit earnings with documents showing the source. I'm in 300level and i want to sponsor myself. Please advice.

If you are doing self service then it won't be necessary.

It’s says “tick if you are including this document” it means you have to tick the documents from the options that u will be submitting with ur application.
