Nobody cares about where you are coming from. In sane places people who violate government orders are taken to a civil court and given appropriate punishment like making them sweep the roads for, say 60 days, or making them do some other community service. Sometimes they are also made to pay fines that will burn holes in their pockets.

There are more intelligent and human ways to deal with civil disobedience. You shouldn't even be supporting such barbaric attitude, but I know in Nigeria many people don't know what is normal.

No crime, not even violation of curfew warrants the dehumanization and rape of dignity of any person. This is an abuse.

In other countries with sound mind, violators are arrested to either pay a fine or serve time.

It will take many years to unshackle the bonds of abuse embedded in the psyche of the average Nigerian, else you wouldn't be writing what you wrote.
