Take note we don't farm onions
Yeah. Climatic factors are not suitable for onion planting in the South, regardless of this, I think we Southerners are shying away from agriculture and give more preference to education.

My people the prices of food stuffs is on the rise in Rivers State. I don't know about other cities.

Look at the Onions my wife bought at Oil Mill Market In Portharcourt for 500 naira today.

On a normal day these onions should cost 50 naira or less.

How is it in your area

I bought the same (4 tiny pieces) yesterday evening, for 200 Naira. Anambra.
The seller refused to remove one kobo. He just fixed the price there.

Very correct.....we the South South/South East, we very lazy and proud people because of our oil......
We have the rain and good weather but almost all the food are from the north and middle belt.....
The rice, beans, potatoes, cereal etc
And Most southerners are clamouring for Biafra and oduduwa, the would drink crude Oil (South East and South South) and eat solid minerals (South West), when the gain independence

Or herdsmen killer and rapist herdsmen have stopped many in the South from going to farm. I and many I know gave up our farms years ago for same reason.
let's forget about the herdsmen issue, before it started How many southerners do you know that farm in large quantities except for the vegetables, palm oil and Cassava which we are known for.
The south needs to try and plant something New too inorder to reduce the prices of goods

You are a lier and you know you are lying.......
Now that the oil is drying up what will you do?
I pray let this oil dry up immediately so that the southerners and Nigerian government would get sense and explore other GDP boosting sectors such as ICT, tourism, industry etc.
Oil has made a lot of people stupid and lazy

So when things get more expensive, you shouldn't try to bargain, seek alternatives or solution. You should just "work harder for more money". Such a horrible mentality.

the name of the game is to have an abundance and hustle mentality with multiple screams of income and blessings arriving at your door. i'm sure you've heard of the saying 'work smarter not harder'. invest valuable time in one's profession or job, or hustle instead of being totally knowledgeable of football scores or bbnaija bs. and don't forget to thank the creator for blessings each and every day/night.
now i'm gonna say something positive instead of returning a snide insult.. may all Nigerians be blessed with jobs, adequate income and healthy sustenance.

Guy onion needs cold weather like that of harmattarn or with very low humidity.

Southern Nigeria have very high humidity which is not favourable for onion.

Onions grow perfectly in the south.

Not everyone believes in status quo like you.

Government locked the country and gave us nothing. We took it.

People gave their lives for their rights and you call it useless?

Is it cos you are not a victim of SARS?

You are not worth it though

Let me not just further.
