Razzness:
I swear, i can't buy any of this onions more than 20 naira here in kano.
Kai! Am not sure i can survive a week in the south.

Reasons been that those hausa transporters trailers were burnt and looted so they held a meeting and came to the conclusion that any of thier member that takes foodstuffs to the south his vehicle will be burnt so now they only stop at lafia in nasarawa state, that's the reason for the scarcity of some food items, but I kinda like it cos this will push more of my fellow southern youths into agriculture.

Op, you and dear wifey pray together and ask u know who for blessings of more money and/or more affordable food sources. wink

don't stay in poverty all your life and display it on NL. this site is Nairaland, not Brokeland. grin

So when things get more expensive, you shouldn't try to bargain, seek alternatives or solution. You should just "work harder for more money". Such a horrible mentality.

Idiots.

This year was already tough as it was. But no, as a Nigerian, you have to make it even harder by burning everything down.

Shebi it is Buhari you are doing.

I've never seen where in this world people fecode they would be unhappy for 8 years.
Almost a decade.

Numbskulls.

May you lose your sweat to herdsmen like we did. Say a big Amen to it.
If it's a lie don't be Afraid to say amen. May they rape, beat up, kill people you love like those killed in the South by herdsmen.

Say another AMEN. If it's a lie don't be afraid to say amen. That is how to prove that you know what I am saying is a lie.

She has not, that's now bad it is in the South right now. The onions that was headed to the South before the protest got spoiled because the sellers couldn't move after the curfew. So Aboki dey increase price to recoup their losses.

Your own is plenty bro, better keep it tight. when I got home this evening, I recalled that someone complaint about price of onion on nairaland yesterday and I quickly asked my wife if she had bought onion recently and the next thing she said was O! you are aware already, who told you? Then I explained and she said she sent her sister to the small market within my area(RD off, Okporo Rumudara PH) earlier today and she returned with one Onion bought at 200.

Hate speech is the cause of this avoidable inflation. Nnamdi Kanu incited his followers to attack northern trucks and goods. Now they're afraid to travel down with their commodities.

Igbos and those surrounding them seem to have signed up for a long ride of hunger. No thanks to Ipob.

My sister, it's no lie. Those ones are at least fresh. If you see the tiny, almost dead onion (one single onion ooo) my neighbour's son bought for N100 here in Lagos, ehen? His mother chased him back with it immediately.

It's terrible, but God will help us.
