We can easily cultivate it down south. South easth in particular. Its very simple when our leaders thinks towards revamping our agricultural potentials. Agriculture is our future whether we like it or not.

I wonder why you doubt him. Have you lived in Rivers state?

Cursing him and his wife isn't the best way to go.

Let us leave in unity. We all need each other. Everybody is important, the country Nigeria is never a mistake. But the leaders are the mistakes we must correct.

Who said so?

Onions can be farmed by anybody. We have the perfect weather for it more than the north yet we see it as northern thing. If cold regions like Europe can farm onions, tell me the reason why south shouldn't.

Hunger have not yet started. Everybody want to be a trader or white collar guy.

Ugly Truth! Nigerians don't want to suffer as long as they have chicken change but that's a myopic reasoning, even though i've got a white collar job it won't stop me from growin' some essentials for my own consumption for sooner or later my needs would outweigh my earnings

I swear, i can't buy any of this onions more than 20 naira here in kano.
Kai! Am not sure i can survive a week in the south.

Every region in the south has enough land to cultivate food to feed their peoples ..

South can feed themselves and even export to north when your north agrees that the southern regions leave Nigeria to govern themselves, not in this new-colonization by the north.

Stop your propaganda to continue Nigeria as restructured by your northern military dictators.

The past leaders who restructured the country politically under unitary government system made the worst mistake.
Mistake of present leaders is in their not restructuring the country in a democracy to make the country governable. The lopsided political structure brings you the type of Buharis and Jonathans as president but excludes the best political leaders from even joining Nigeria’s politics.

Even if we farm, we don't farm it in large quantities

We concentrate on cassava and the likes
my recent agro experiment has shown that most of these crops grow well in the south, it is just interest. My only challenge had been how to keep wild animals at bay.

From potatoes, to beans and groundnuts, all did well.

That is what you get when you have abundant fertile land in the south but can't farm rather choose to buy from the north just because of white collar jobs which they also end up been your bosses. You are at the bottom of the nigerian food chain bro.

Rivers State government should shun North and import onions.
Let the north export their onions or rot with it.

Everybody wants to cash out from every event in Nigeria.
Covid-19, people cashed out.
Now endSars people want to cash out.

When South has refused to farm.

What are you saying? Many southerners are farming but Fulanis herdsmen are raping female farmers on their farms and the men are being slaughtered on their farms by the same fulani herdsmen. If southern farmers are not safe on their farms, can you blame them for not farming? Why should they suffer on the farm just for fulani herdsmen to lead their cows into the farm to eat all the crops the farmers in the south planted?
