I intend to pay back in installments after I settle fully in the UK. That is, start paying back 3/4 months after I arrive the UK. I have been to many financial houses in Lagos, asked a few people all to no avail. The financial houses I went to said they don't give Education loans, only Business loans or property loans.

Your help will be appreciated. I have all my personal documents for verification.

It happened to my husband also. What we did was to reapply all over again from the scratch. When we got to d IHS again, it didn’t show the technical error again

I can pay back over 36 months. Remember you get two years post study work visa.

How does the Uk government keep track of how many hours you are working in a week, especially when you don’t have NIN. Just asking

Your wife doesn't have to change her last name, she can use her passport in her current legal name.

I understand your situation, but looking at it realistically, you are seeking an unsecured loan from commercial lenders in the business of making money which is to be payable over 36 months with no collateral except your word and your potential earning power with limited working hours for the first 6 months or so, then debatable job prospects thereafter and all in a corona-ravaged economy.

2. She doesn't need a new passport. Just attach the marriage cert.

Very easy .... companies have to report their employees to HMRC. Even if you dont have NIN, a temporary number is assigned and when NIN is ready it all links in. HMRC system is very electronic and real time now when it comes to Payrolling

It so so easy to keep a track nowadays. Even if you think you are getting away with it. When it time for the next visa renewal then trouble will bring its head

But note that they only deal with selected TOP schools in the UK. If you are lucky to get admitted to any of those schools not only in UK but around the world, they will give you loan. They offered me a loan cos I was expecting admission from University of Manchester (one of the very few schools in UK they finance) but Manchester no gimme admission o. The other schools sef no gimme, na Ivy league standard schools.

Please I want to know from those who have gotten their visas either through standard or priority, at what point do you know your visa is approved Is it stated in your decision mail?
Or you cannot know till you get your passport back and open it?

I just applied and paid for priority and courier. WIll they let me know if visa is approved at any stage before I get the passport back?

The wait for courier na wa o. Sometimes to pick up is faster to quench BP. lol
