Do you also believe we will manufacture any covid-19 vaccine in Nigeria? cool
That might be our best bet... Except we want to keep it imported at intervals...

Moderna's vaccine is can be kept for 30 days in the refrigerator, the company announced Monday. Pfizer's vaccine can last only five days in the refrigerator., - CNN

The real customers won't come to the social media to boycott the services of Access Bank

If you remember a similar issues with GTBANK in the past. Those who have real business with Access Bank will ignore the rants. However if this will bring down the share price to N4 or below, I am in support. Herbert will be happy too.

A few days ago, VP Osibanjo said one of Nigeria's key priorities will be to get the vaccines. He didn't add more details how they will source for them. Whether they will pick Pfizer, GSK, Sanofi or others, we don't know. If they pick GSK, GSK Consumer Nigeria Plc will benefit.

However, it will be helpful to study several vaccine candidates and the level of their progress.

Gsk consumer Nigeria and Neimeth plc are here to go for sales/distribution in Nigeria.

Gsk Uk-parent company for Gsk Nigeria
Pfizer Us- for Neimeth Nigeria.

Neimeth has already started responding through their share price.

Gsk parent company will drive their baby company who is the leader in Nigeria health sector.

Is it possible for dematerialisation of shares to take over a year or are meristem just incompetent?

How Yahoo finance describes coys with -EV;

"For a company to have a negative enterprise value, it has to have more cash on its balance sheet than its market value and debt. This could imply that the company is hugely undervalued. It deserves a case-by-case analysis of the situation and the company's strengths or weaknesses...
Simply put, a negative enterprise value means that a company has more cash than it would need to pay off any debt and buy back all its stocks in one go, if it really wanted to."

That said, there are other very powerful indicators too. ...aside -EV, there are at least 6 other powerful/key determinants that clearly shows the hugely undervalued stand of GSK !!
That coy should have no business trading below N12.90.
As I said before, the present mkt price is by far, way too cheap !! Feasible REWARD is clearly making a mockery of risk(RR in view)
If the coy were to be selling for N11.70 or an 8-10.5% discount from that price, then we could begin to attach an intrinsic peg to it, but which(compared to peers) would even still be underpriced.

Selah

Meanwhile, on the part in italics, GSK currently sits on almost zero debt, despite consecutive print in -EV.
I just did another modelling drawing from the coys BS, and I can even see that my FVE with the part in bold is even a bit conservative.(previously N14.1 FVE even with an unusually high risk premium)

I kept laughing from the sideline, when some folks say that FIDSON is fundamentally healthier. Coys can make u believe what they want u to believe from what they present to u. wink cheesy grin ...which is why I've always emphasized on the need to know how to see the bad in a good FP(result), and the good in a seemingly poor or average one while seeking VALUE !! While FIDSON is also fundamentally healthy(though currently overpriced), it is at present, NOT more healthy than GSK.(value-drive in view)
...its only those that can model extreme fundamental analysis that'll see the huge potential in GSK at present.

I am betting big on this coy. The last 2 times I used that phrase(betting big) of recent was when I took big positions in WAPCO @N9 and NEIMETH @ 38-41k.
We'll see how things play out from here.

Dislaimer: NOT an investment advice.
My advise? Pls follow ur instinct.

The text in bold will benefit only GlaxoSmithKline's shares that are quoted on both the London and New York Stock Exchanges, not GSK Consumer Nigeria Plc.

U don't get it... do u? wink cheesy grin
Just take out some time to read my past post since the day I called out for a buy on GSK @ N5.60. Perhaps u might pick a thing or 2 if u read btw the lines.

GSK Nigeria will benefit from whatever happens to the parent company. The parent company own about 60% of the Nigerian subsidiary

That's true.

GSK is always better positioned than Fidson.

Outsourcing local manufacturing to Fidson, reduces GSK overheads.

The government can't bypass local pharmaceutical companies.

They rather fund local companies with international parent companies (GSK and Pfizer) to bring in the vaccines.

Do we produce any vaccine in the country?
What happens to cold chain equipment in handling import?

I understand the euphoria and sentiment about health sector companies but in term of real benefit to balance sheet, there might be none.

Well, I am not for or against your projection on GSK Consumer Nigeria PLC. However, European countries, Canada making advance payment to GSK won't benefit GSK Consumer Nigeria PLC.

Yes I agree with you. FG can also buy the vaccines from sanofi, Novavax etc. without involving the local pharmaceutical firms. Just like today where the UK government ordered 5miliion doses of moderna vaccine without involving her local pharmaceutical firms. This is in addition to the 40million doses secured from Pfizer/Biontech.

The more the rate of inflation rises(coupled with the low rate environment), the more the chase for better yield as purchasing power gets bashed.
With Nominal return at ridiculously low peg and Real return plunging deeper into the negative territory, select value-driven underpriced assets in the stock market remains one of the most viable and feasible way to beat inflationary pressure and grow ones net worth.(+RR in view)
...more funds are sure to roll into this market in the short to mid term !!
Perhaps even much more from where am standing.

So if u have done well enough to align with the fundamentally healthy coys... HOLD !!

It is well.

Yes you have to. Every stock you buy needs it's dividend mandate if you bought it for dividend purpose. Though for same registrar you have the option of ticking off particular stocks you are interested in on a single form
