To be candid, the monogamy stuff was introduced with xtianity and I'm sad to say,it is losing its value even in Nigeria. Men get bored over time and the women get old and used up. My granpa had 3 wives and they all stayed relatively young. Some were farmers like him and others do trade,so his wives contributed to the family and still did their wifely duties and they stayed in line. I never liked monogamy but like everything given to Africans, we always abuse it or fail to edit,question and improve it. Muslims may have marital issues but religion made it more acceptable to the women to stay in line.
