Oxford, Yale and the likes are prestigious universities, the funds are secondary not primary because they are other requirements from applicants especially for starters in B.SC and others.
they're other universities abroad that's affordable better ranking than all the universities in Nigeria.
Those universities are well funded and well facilitated for research and development than universities in Nigeria, better affiliate programs for students in some prestigious universities abroad.
Peaceful environment nothing like kidnapping, unstable calendar, old curriculum.
You will visit known tourist sites around the world, in that country, explore the city ,learn new culture, language with good roads, stable electricity without fear and panic .
You will meet tutors in the field of study with current happening not pour and chew..

Guy the quality of lectures in private universities are top notched and are aimed at inspiring u to be an entrepreneur after ur program..try receiving lectures at convenant university and compare them to the one u receive in unilag...the difference is clear..

Same uniport alakahia, a lecturer in a car was riding anyhow it seems he was in a hurry it seems he came to visit his student gf, he splashed a boy that was walking with a group of other boys they were coming back from school, naturally u would provoke instead of saying sorry this man parked his car and was telling the boy u say u will do what, what do u want to do, said some annoying words and entered his car then drove away.


During my time in university during Jonathan's tine we spent almost 1year at home, d moment we resumed we learnt 2semester courses in a very short time and they gave exams.

Public unis are the reason why u would see a 2.2 graduate from it would go abroad or private uni and make first class.

it goes beyond courses, its about the possibilites ur immediate environment puts in ur face...some private unis have flexible curriculum and expose you to what u need to do to make the difference, as a medical student u will see what u can do with tech in the hospital, as estate management student u will identify how u can create positive disruption to the existing other and deliver better value for clients, as a Lawyer same thing.....u see all of these ideas on a daily, it becomes the normal for u. Every sector is saturated already, what makes the difference is how u do things differently...which is what private uni guys are doing very well

Yes maybe expensive for the larger masses. You are correct in most other points. Except that no special offering was raised in the church for building both covenant and landmark universities.

Did you know that Americans borrow "student loans" to pay more than this covenant school fees just to attend university. Many of them never pay their loans back fully till death.

The biggest problem I see here is ignorance. Rather than hate, do a little research. They have scholarship schemes for people that cant afford the fees. You can apply if you wish to.

No private uni in Nigeria can stand in top 30 position. They can't compete with polytechnics not to talk of fed unis. Glorified secondary schools selling first class to public uni rejects and failed Jambites.
