I don't know much about what I was when I was a little younger but I learnt a little about introverts and their tendency to keep their lives private

I am the kind that most times believe in action rather than words, I tend to be active in places I am more used to

Now that I think of it, I was made the Head boy of the school but I don't think I actually did things other than the normal and I mostly depended on my very close associates to give out my orders even though I understood the power I held at that time

Now that I am out of school, I have relapsed really bad
Can't even chat with friends except on general topics
Couldn't even steer a chat with a former classmate to condolences on the death of her mother.
For the past one year I think Facebook is mostly once in a month and it is only to check notifications and WhatsApp well you can guess what I am going to type
Was having a chat with a former neighbour and I just told him later not because I was going offline but I just couldn't continue with the chat and till today his reply is still unread even though I usually come online

I love being an introvert, better understanding of people, I think I am better at leadership too it might look like I am not involved in decision making but my opinion is always respected

I hope to have my business but of course I definitely won't be the CEO, I think I work better behind the scenes

Thanks to all of you here, I get to understand myself better.

they're not really shy, if you're shy, work on yourself esteem, that has absolutely nothing to do with introversion, being shy means you want to work with other people but can't because you can't approach them, that has nothing to do with loving your own space to the death

There is a big difference between introverts and people who hv mental disorder, the problem with this thread is that , they make introversion look like a mental illness, everything goes. Many people here r not really introverts but people who need therapy but because Nigeria is very backward, they need to live with their situation. Introverts talk to people , introvert hv talents (yes many can’t talk in crowded places just like myself ) but they hv friends , introvertion does means u r more intelligent or wiser than extroverts. If u are intelligent, u are intelligent whether introvert or not . I love my own company with books and my phone . I love talking on phone with the right friends, I don’t talk much but I listen . So that introverts don’t like making calls is bin material. U don’t like making calls is ur own problem not an introvert thing . I love dancing alone, introverts go out to parties , not just very often . Introverts are not sadist , that hate enjoyment or fun . We just don’t do it very often .
Introverts can stay home as much as they want but if they hv to go out there to get things done they will. Many Introverts love pets. One thing I hvnt seen in this thread. My favorites r cats . They are cute and calm. Less noise. Introverts chose to be alone , not that they can’t go wide , they just don’t wanna. Introverts r aware extrovert hv a lot of fun, they just like their own company regardless . I said what I said

The more you do it, the easier it becomes for you, stop masturbating and start exercising your body everyday, go out more often, nobody will bite you.

I don’t see a problem with it , if it’s with someone I care about. if I know it’s an irrelevant conversation, i won’t pick up, it’s not because I don’t like calls or can’t pick calls . It just has to be with the right person. Texting sometimes is stressful , I don’t even reply fast enough.

you are not bad at talking , u just hvnt seen someone u are comfortable talking to . R there therapist in Nigeria self, meeting one can change a lot.
