Fund management? I doubt you know what it means. I weep. Financial literacy is something to be taken very seriously.

Everybody and their grandmas now think they manage other peoples money. Zero antecedent, zero prospectus, zero credentials, zero regulation.

@Mcy56, do you have any info on Lasaco.
The other handle was banned when I tried to reply @chibuking81

Did some findings too and got to know that Lasaco would be doing share reconstruction of one for every 4 held. No info on this in NSE corporate disclosure.

Unlike Mansard who gave bonus to take care of the reconstruction plan, there's no info on bonus issue or whatever on the part of Lasaco.
If Lasaco should get to 40kobo pre-reconstruction for instance, the post reconstruction price will be 4*40kobo = N1.60.

My concern is: How Mr. Market will handle this kind of price for insurance coy post reconstruction. Think there's need for caution here.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56(f): 11:48am On Dec 28, 2020
@Chibuking81

You didn't consider Mansard fair value in your calculations.
You're not supposed to use N2.56 as example in the first place.
Remember Mansard was trading in the range 1.65 - 2.00 mostly before bonus issue came up.
From my own little understanding, Mansard at below N1 is underpriced.........both before and after share reconstruction.......though we all know Mr. Market has a mind of its own.

Lasaco only planned reconstruction of shares into ratio 1:4.....
E.G. 40,000units will become 10,000units after reconstruction........i.e. 40000÷4 =10,000.

Lasaco needs to come up with clear plan on pre and post reconstruction in my opinion.

I however think buying at 30/32kobo or below is still okay. This is just my opinion, there may be pecks attached to the reconstruction but which we're yet to know......let them come out in clear terms.
**This is an update to my previous post on Lasaco**

Anyone with much info can pls post so we can understand better.

As for multiverse, this has been at car park for long. From my side, no info yet on this stock and I will say: instead of tying capital down on "hope", go for dividend paying stock instead.

Except for jijo purpose, for calculated short time capital appreciation, taking advantage of they company result manipulations to achieve a specific goal. Anything apart from that from penny stock might seems to be on suicide mission. They will reconstruct today within a little while when they can't manipulate their result again, car park will be their next direction.

We need to be patient, after the reconstruction, they will come to raise capital for the current recapitalisation. Before they raise capital, the share price would have drop to less than N1 and i think that will be the best time to buy.

@Mcy sorry about that, I was ban last week too, when trying to post a comments containing figure. Is like Nairaland don't accept post with much figure, maybe to avoid reviewing companies secret containing figure. I was surprise as I was not suspended in my recent post with figure. Maybe as you want to reply on it they feel that I have come to add more, and mistakenly they ban you.
Better still next time just type @with the person moniker, to avoid similar experience, thanks.

@yMcy56, remember that any company that give bonus will mark down on its qualifications date. Case study of Cutix cable when in the recent year they gave 1for 1, and was markdown at exact half price of their previous market closed price before the due date.
So using #2.56 for Mansard to determine their current suppose market price, shouldn't be out of place. Their bonus to one is approximately 2.43, plus one existing equal to 3.43 new unit. Therefore #2.56 divided by 3.43 unit will give you 0.75 kobo approximately, which suppose to be their suppose price after their mark down using #2.56, pls educate me more on how their fair price should be above #1.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Chibuking81(m): 8:00am On Dec 29, 2020
HOW BONUS SHARE ARE ADJUSTED
Price Adjustment
Usually, after the bonus issue, the share price of the company gets adjusted according to the bonus ratio. For example, if the price before bonus is Rs 200 and a company issues bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1, the post-bonus share price will be Rs 100, which means that the total market value (2 x Rs 100=Rs 200) remains the same.

Let's just allow Mr. Market take care of things.
Mansard already adjust share price down for bonus issue and it closed @1.05 on the last trading day.
Remain adjusting up after reconstruction. This will take place in Feb 2021 all things being equal.
