Sincerely speaking, year 2020 has been challenging and a lot of things happened during the year.

It was a year we experienced total lockdown in the world due to Covid-19 pandemic. The lockdown led to a lot of unspeakable occurrences.

I came up with this question and thread so that we can learn from you. Despite all odds throughout the year, you were able to achieve something and proud of it simultaneously.

As for me, I was able to complete my University's education and I graduated with first class in Accounting. I'm very proud of that. Despite all odds, I still made it.

What is something you accomplished this year that you are proud of?

We would be glad to hear and learn from you.

I bought land in pleasant places.

I took care of my health back to back.

Finished my MSc

I started a new house today

I ghosted all my babes

I became stingy

I'm still here

I survived.

My dreamed biz failed.. That was my rock bottom. You may not understand how that's an accomplishment.


But the major accomplishment is survival, 2020 no easy for the common man

I am very thankful of the collapse of the naira.
We have been subsidising imports into this country for far too long at the expense of our local productivity via artificial defense of the naira.
So I am very glad COVID came to change this narrative by crippling oil price and sparking uncertainty in the CBN(they want to continue with that rubbish scheme,they have what it takes to,but are too afraid to do so for uncertainty reasons which is good and should continue to be so.).
Putting politics before economics must not continue in this country henceforth ,else we would be stagnated for life.

I was able to explore new approaches to doing my business, an innovation that came with the pandemic.

I brushed up on my coding skills.

I was able to execute a personal project I've had in mind for years.

Lastly, I was able to see the end of the year and to Christ be all the glory. "Pandemic no dey", "e no dey" but many have gone and I am alive to see the end of the year... It's not a small feat at all.

God blessed my wife & I with the most adorable princess for a daughter.
What a year it was for me!

I was able to propose and marry my long time girlfriend.

Isn't that interesting?
O boy!!! Na jonsing o!! I am still single and searching.

I am very grateful for the life and good health, earlier in the year everything was very scary with a whole lot of uncertainties but here I am still going stronger and stronger.

I am just grateful to the most HIGH GOD.

I achieved a healthy lifestyle.

I achieved focus.

I achieved discipline.

I achieved getting my mom a SUV for her birthday

I achieved letting go of people who became toxic for my peace.

I achieved executing couple of softwares projects with my team mate.

I achieved keeping my home organized.


I achieved the skill of loving my self and discovering what I can control with my mind..

I achieved a win over passing professional exams even with the pandemic.

Happy great year ahead

I got involved in a lot productive things

I still can't believe a disease that was barely known this time last year has claimed the life of more than 2 million people.

finished NYSC , wedding , house warming ,
I wish I didn't sell my Bitcoin when the price fall ( the only regret I have about 2020)

Finished my service in June 28 D's yr
No job cos of the pandemic
Bought fairly used okada with the remaining alawee b4 e finished
Started okada (omoh e nor easy oo, the shame)
But money dea okada Sha that's of na new bike, my own dea show me shege.
I recouped my money back in 2months, now am planning of buying land even if it's half plot.

Baba God too much

I reduced the amount of time I spent online this year.

i finished building my house ,now am looking for wife neva knew is dis hard to find a wife

Enlarging my farm....ASUU strike is literally a blessing in disguise to me

I can now look girls in the eye..

Absolutely nothing. I mean nothing!!

If I have my way, we would have repeated this year.

Come to think of it, MANY YEARS AGO, I WAS HEARING OF VISION 2020, WHERE IS THE VISION?

Being alive with my family and friends is enough achievement for me.
