Please I noticed a disturbing scenario playing in my house as I came back for xmas... My 67yr old dad use to smoke weed (Igbo) in our sitting room.

When we were younger, he use to smoke outside and occasionally smokes around the house especially late in the night or in the wee hours.

As a matter of fact I'm 30yrs and I have another younger brother who's 27yrs then my sister who's the youngest. But Non of us smoke weed or have toed in his line... My mother has tried in that aspect not to raise us like that!!!

I brought this issue here because I need help on how to make my aging dad DESIST from that lifestyle... It breaks my heart seeing him popping smoke like that and it's degrading when we have visitors in the house... And secondly I'm wary of his health!!!

He’s 67. If he is happy and your mother is not in any danger free the man o. He is too old for all that. Maybe make veranda he can go to smoke and leave the house for your mother and visitors

Get enough money, demolish his house and build a better mansion for him,place him on allowance for his daily comfort and survival and see him listen to you without delay..........


If he refuses to stop, go and drop him in Dubai or Saudi Arabia for years and he will forget weed for eternity


Free him if you can't afford this alternatives

He has a bunk under a tree inside the compound , he mole the weed by himself still , upon his shakey hands

I sat down , It was a good time with him that I have to spend extra 24 hrs

You cannot help a man who doesn't see any problem in what he does. You will just kill yourself worrying about him. At 67 he knows what is good for him. Let him be and face your life, ensuring you do not allow the habit surface in yours and your kids generation line.

Besides the fact that we were born into a world at a time when weed smoking is considered 'Irresponsible', has his weed smoking in any way or manner affected his ability to cater for his family as a man? If the answer is NO, then you should stop worrying yourself cos he's never going to stop. If you don't like it, the best you can do is make sure you don't ever indulge yourself in it. Leave the rolling stone to keep rolling; there's a lot of stress in Nigeria and some of these things are more like mental therapy for those who indulge without 'abuse'.

The weed sold was genetically modified to mess up your brain.they have removed the cbd content and increased the thf content. Weed prior to the 1930s were the ones healthy and beneficial. Weed lowers your tosterone and causes impotence and is a feminine agenda inducing males to become like females.

Fear not, that man will not die cos of weed addiction. Most people died last year not from addictions. JUst pray for him.

It isn't about you alone Man. There is this lovable bond that reside among smokers all around the world that even religion failed to break.

A Brazilian came to learn IFA (Yoruba Deity worship) before the lockdown last year. Two days later he mysteriously made up with some boys that smoke. Guess what? They all smoked through the same pipe with love and smile all over them. No discrimination at all.

Go and check all those billionaires they have club where they smoke weed and cocaine. I think is better to let him be.for it no to have any effects on him during his youthful days till now then no cause for alarm

Stimulant has its demerits like causing harms to the neurons and smokers cannot smoke in moderation because of it addiction but he may find it very hard to stop now though its stoppage is always gradual not instantaneously but you just ve to advise him to reduce its daily intake.

Respect your father is a commandment of God.

I love your dad cos he knows what he is benefitting from weed smoking. Smoke on gangster dad. Weed is life!

My father is his late 70s also Chain-smoker and I love him that way despite I don't smoke, he told me he started the habit on 1st October 1960... He don't smoke with his medium stout.. very energetic and healthy fellow..
Abeg allow the old man to enjoy his retirement in peace
