Demanding for that #100m is not the issue, but it shows that this parent never believe they could get that kind of money in their entire life. They could have asked for proper treatment of their child and also an apology letter from the school.

You guys should take it easy with all these over exaggeration of how things work in the western world please, those guys are not perfect too guys, some of us are witnesses to this facts....no western country will close down an entire school just because a child suffered abuse haba!!! Yes, there will be serious investigation carried out, all suspects will be temporarily suspended from the school until found innocent, government agencies will swing into action to do a full audit of the school activities, one on one student investigation will be carried out to dig deeper and probe if there are other silent victims, but the school will not be shut down...do you know the level of child abuse and molestations that took place in the Catholic convents in your western countries? yet no single branch of the Catholic Convents where this molestations took place was shut down, investigations and penalties where carried out...have you not heard of numerous stories and cases where female teachers were having sex with underage pupils in western countries? Yet the school was not shut down, proper investigation and penalties will be served to the guilty parties, go to Google and do a little research you will be shocked at what you will find about this issue in the US alone, over 800cases in 2014 alone in the US yet the schools were not shut down, just proper and adequate investigation carried out with the guilty ones sentenced to jail....Simple.

whether you accept it or not, in a sane society including western world, the school would have been closed down to PROTECT OTHER CHILDREN while investigation is carried out. Leaving the school open after listening to ALL the revelations by the mother of child is irresponsible of the government.

If you follow up on her own side of the story and not base it on media or reports from representatives of Deeper life, you will know that she has involved a Lawyer.

Should she keep quiet when they are trying to cover up this terrible act? Should she keep quiet in a society where affluence matters above justice?

If you listened to the child (victim), you will know that this is not the case of falsehood but a case to be taken seriously. The boy gave honest response and never made up answers but will decline when he doesn't have an answer to the question asked by the Mum.

It's high time we started seeking for justice rather than taking sides. This case isn't a case of the mother vs deeper life but a case of the mother vs bad practices in the school. The society we live in will always try to cover up justice all in the name of saving institutions or individuals involved.

They are well within their right to sue the school. If it were the western world, the school would have been closed down pending the results of the investigation. Child abuse is a very serious offence
