I beg to differ. The afore mentioned Anambra ex grew up in Lagos but only developed the conk accent when he moved to the east to for higher institution.

I have an old childhood friend from Abia state. The only time you will know he's Igbo is when he deliberately adds 'nna' when starting a statement. He speaks perfect English without any mother tongue interference.

Anambra has produced finest writers not even in Nigeria but in Africa from Chinua Achebe to Chimammanda Adiche , Chukwuemeka Ike , Anambra has given Nigeria, Africa, the International Literary Market Place. an impressive array of Creative Writers – Cyprian Ekwensi, Chinua Achebe, Christopher Okigbo, Chukwuemeka Ike, Onuora Nzekwu, Obi Egbuna, Nkem Nwankwo, Ifeoma Okoye, Nathan Nkala, Akachi Ezeigbo

You guys keep talking accents ... There is nobody that speaks without accent in the world , everyone speaks with accent... If a Niger Deltan from Rivers to Bayelsa even delta speaks I would know.. they have this intonation and have a way of calling "sh" "ch" if an Efik , Ibibio speak English I would know

If an Australian speak English I can differentiate it from British... London english with that draw I can know ...

In usa, the way the East coast folks speak isn't the same with the folks in South let's say Texas Huston and boston areas... You know the Hill billies english

So there is no way one can't speak any foriegn language without accent ... Even native speakers have intonations that tells them apart...

I won't say Anambra dudes rock. My experience and those close to me with them hasn't been palatable at all.

I'm sorry to say that I disagree with the accent part. I'm yet to meet any Anambra man without a conk igbotic accent. Even the one previously married to a close friend who is a lecturer in one of the most prestigious federal universities in Nigeria has an igbo accent thick enough to break a concrete wall. A certain ex of mine who was born in Lagos but moved to Anambra speaks heavily accented English. My old school mates from Anambra state all speak like proud Igbo men. ALL THE Anambrarians I know speak with an accent. iKid you not.

Please don't use 'romantic' and 'Anambra man' in the same sentence. The most romantic men I know are Tiv men, surprising enough. They are even more romantic than Yoruba men.

The alpha male persona is also common with the men. ALL their men I know are alpha males, and they cut across various sectors of the economy. Perhaps it's just the alphas I've been coming across, I don't know, but that is the impression I've gotten so far.

Old age is a gift. You better pray to attain it and not die like a chicken before that milestone.

You're ignored henceforth because it is obvious you think from your anus, that's why everything you write is full of shìt.

You seem to have a problem with Igbo language. You don't want any traces of Igbo tongue to be found in the speech of an Igbo man or what?
Then avoid Igbo men, even when they come your way, reject them outrightly.

You don't have any problem(s) with Igbo men as you said, but you don't like the Igbo language and or the Igbo accent. I'm assuming you are from kwale as the guy asserted, don't you guys have accent? Hausas, Yorubas, Igbos, Efik, Ibibios etc all got accents.

More like...?

They marry outside their state, that I know. The few ones I know are very Igbotic and egotistical, but there are exceptions like J111333 who is a very nice person.

[s]They usually have very thick Igbo accent, eg pronouncing Lexus as Lexoos. Some of them believe women should be like civil servants, i.e, seen but not heard. All of them, and I mean all the ones I have been aquainted with are VERY unromantic and are alpha males, so if you can cope with an alpha male then you have no fear. [/s]

Stating objective observations doesn't mean I have a problem with them. That's why it is an OBSERVATION.

Lol.....why you come carry the accent thing for head na? Every tribe has their own peculiar accent, if you think you speak perfect English then go to the states or UK and speak. You will see how thick your own accent is
