sagbar:Since the wife is a student, he should get a dependent visa and then start applying for jobs in Nigeria. Let him not quit yet since there's no guarantee that he will get a job. The wife can also try getting a job before her masters is over so she can sponsor him on her work visa. But another way of looking at it is to take a plunge and rough it out till he gets a job. |

starboychan: You can cut it down to 6 years not 8; if you get a job immediately after you graduate. Make sure you start applying (for graduate or entry level jobs) as soon as you land. Put your MSC “in view” on your CV. If you’ve got experience, even better. Lots of engineers I know do project management, but I’ll advice throwing in HSE/Nebosh certifications (I don’t know if they are the same lol); I know an Engr that’s doing well and he has a HSE. Food: pack some noodles crayfish no red oil (not worth the stress) dry fish (your house mates will hate the smell) egusi (please grinded!) Maggie (important!!) dry pepper (importanter!!) no need for more than 2 pasta (it’s cheap here, but you might not want to shop when you get here) kilishi (if you like it) garri (I don’t eat this stuff) small sugar 1 pack of powdered milk (Milo too if you like) fry some meat (don’t try this if your destination is Heathrow) Some dried veggies for your egusi soup Amala powder/poundo (small please) Beans (not much, the one here gets done quickly) Put all these in your luggage o! 9 Likes 4 Shares |

Thanks boss, I really appreciate. I did HSE and project management certification in Nigeria but not sure it will be recognised. My initial plan is to do PMI project management certification, but I will add HSE now too. Lexusgs430: A friend on Facebook leads a Christ Embassy church here in the UK, and posted the church Christmas party held in Dec 2020 when we were even told no household mixing The hall was packed full, no social distancing whatsoever, no face mask, no precautions no nothing, people hugging and pic up and down.... wasnt that against the rules in December.......but hey it's always selective reading when it comes to the bible. Some parts when it comes to money are magnified and self interpreted while others part are ignored. The bible states that the laws of the land should be obeyed and followed. Romans 13:1-2 says: Obey the government....... 4 Likes |

According to them, chris said Covid19 was a scam, despite my pleas with the family........ Now her husband is infected with COVID19, has numerous health comorbidities and complications...... Unfortunately, her husband is now on an EOL pathway.... Anytime from now, his bell would ring......... I am yet to ask the wife if covid19 is a scam or not..... Please i am looking at starting the naira to pounds exchange as a side hustle. What do I need to know? How do I make profit or charge? Someone I know charges £5 for every transaction. How do I protect myself from being scammed too? Please your candid advise would be greatly appreciated. |

Ah! I still had this discussion with someone on WhatsApp yesterday and the person said that since Pst Chris has declared it a scam, it is a scam and over hyped. He also said something in the line of rapture being 3-10 years max away from happening which is why the govt are being deceptive. He also said something along the lines of only illiterates believe Covid-19. My "omo" finished yesterday. I used to attend Christ Embassy and I learnt quite a lot while there as I was encouraged to always cross check whatever I'm told from the bible but I'm just shocked that people would rather quote MOG than God because even the bible teaches that wisdom is profitable to direct. I am never known to wish evil (or so I think)..... But I honestly hope chris gets infected with COVID19....... Let's see how his sheep would come and defend him again ....... Remember his teachings on divorce?....... When he got divorced, his did not seem relevant..... They conveniently swept it under the carpet....... 5 Likes |

ELff: In the aboki world, it's all about trust....... You cannot get scammed..... Simply because, you receive funds first, then transfer equivalent......... Just ensure you check your bank account that funds have hit, before you remit...... No go fall for Oluwole sms....... Remember, you might charge commission, if people calculate moneyfex etc etc, and the rate is negligible, you lose that forex business.... The rate of forex might be high this minute and plunges the next....(although not happened of recent times) So it's a game of day after day....... 2 Likes |

I do not know who needs to hear this BUT TITHE AND OFFERINGS DO NOT GUARANTEE YOU HEAVEN. YES THERE ARE GOOD PASTORS AND THERE ARE SCAMMERS BUT BEING ABROAD AND SOMEONE TELLS YOU TO GIVE THEM 10% OF YOUR EARNINGS BEFORE YOU PAY YOUR BILLS IS NOT ONLY THIEVERY BUT A SCAM!. You can imagine if 20 of you earn 1600 and pay 160 quid each to one man(asides d other perks he gets), he smiles home with 3,200 monthly while u have to struggle through your 1440 only to continue the circle again.... Worshipping In a white Catholic church showed me the difference. justwise: 3 Likes |

Covid19 has further shown the greed and emptiness among the so called MEN OF GOLD. They only see covid as a threat to their source of income and as long as your money keeps coming, COVID 19 IS A SCAM. A man who sits on the pulpit far from you tells u not to believe science and facts and you shout "YES PAPA", it will end in premium tears for u LagosismyHome: 4 Likes |

starboychan: In addition, once you start your course you can register for the CSCS exam and download the app to practise for the exam. This is very ideal for construction jobs and educates you about the relevant H&S regulations in the Industry. Another advise is Civil Engineering being on the shortage list gives you an advantage so start applying for jobs once you get in. Depending on the level of tour experience and expertise with engineering softwares that would give you and edge. 3 Likes 2 Shares |
