Hausas and Igbos have the closest business relationship in Nigeria. They are many in igbo cities and we are many in theirs. People were confused by the movie LionHeart and how it focused on the Hausa-Igbo business relationship because most don't know that this is actually the most active inter-group business relationship in Nigeria. Both are commercial people so it's natural. Most Igbo cities has an Ama-Hausa, and most hausa cities have an Igbo quarters.

Thanks.

Hausa cannot be separated From Fulani tho

But the real / current Hausa states in 9ja are

Zamfara
Bauchi
Kano
Kebbi
Kastina

Katsina not Katsina. And in fact Katsina Hausas are considered the "true" Hausa until Fulani usurped them

Good job on sharing this list. The states are homogeneously Hausa. I have a friend from Kebbi who says they have their on local language but everyone speaks Hausa as well

No Hausa man has ever ruled Nigeria. This simply tells u a lot about the 'oneness' of the Fulanis and Hausas.

There are few of them, especially in Adamawa state. Senator Elisha Abbo representing Adamawa north is one of them. Do you remember him ? The senator that rained some hot slaps on a woman at a sex shop in Abuja .

Hausa cannot be separated from Fulani again.

Both Hausa and Fulani have a strong working relationship.

There's none of this state without a strong Fulani presence and Emirs.

Well, you're correct in that aspect, they have strong Fulani presence.

We no longer have Hausa people. Hausa as a stand alone ethnic group no longer exist. They have taken the Hausa-Fulani identity and they are happy and proud about it.
Yeahh..., NO.

Maybe non northerners may not know this, but Hausa and Fulani people are different, and don't view ourselves as one group, though we mutually coexist.
The people that use the identity Hausa-fulani are usually people from a mixed linage.

And Hausa people don't have much reservation about marrying outside their tribe, so you have a lot of intermixed hausas.

Most people that rushed to comment on the front page don’t even understand what MNK is talking about.
The Hausas are straightforward and are not afraid to express how they feel about you. The Fulani on the other hand don show the kind pipo wen dey be already.
Deceptive cowards who are not bold enough to face their foes in open combat, except those foes are old women and children! Useless drugged out murderers!! angry

The nature of the conquest is debatable.

Because despite winning the fight, in the long run the language, and culture of the conquered still dominanted, and the conquerors were the ones to adopt majority of the way of life of the conquered.

I don’t think it’s about not having a choice. They can still choose to identify themselves correctly as Hausa people if they want. They prefer the Hausa-Fulani identity and whatever advantages that comes with it.

As I always say, the problem is Islam. Fulani Christians are nice. Hausa Christians are the best in Nigeria. Yoruba Christians are better than Afonjas. Igbos are majorly Christians and are generally good except the drug, yahoo and political criminals among them.
This your assumption is totally wrong, are you trying to portrayed Islam as bad influence? No religion teaches evils except people practicing it, the heart of man is evil. The islam that you are talking about doesn't condole evils, It is the people who are practicing it, that cause the blemishes you are seeing. We still have good ones around. Don't let ur hatreds towards Islam makes gives wrong assumptions my dear friend

The Fulanis don’t really care about culture. They are willing to accept your culture in as much as they dominate you politically. From Sokoto to Kano and Ilorin, the strategy is the same.
