No need to worry yourself. You can only be paid when the buyer has received the domain. That's the normal thing.

This is why I prefer Dan marketplace. I've sold over 10 domains and one doesn't need to wait for the buyer to receive it.

Lol... So, if the buyer says he wants the domain name transferred to his registrar and the domain is still under 60 days lock and seller have collected money and eaten it, what will you do if you were the one managing the domain escrow and transfer? Will the seller refund the money?

I detest people who find it hard to put themselves in other people's shoes before acting. ONLY seeing things through your own eyes is nothing short of selfishness and self-centeredness

I don't know how Dan.com do there own but I think they ask the buyer how he want to receive his domain before instructing me where to push.
This is the best procedure.

As for your illustration, read it again and you will realise you're not communicating. While the buyer choose to wait for 60days lock, the Escrow man took his own percentage and pay the seller his own percentage. The Escrow service can withhold the domain for the buyer without affecting his business.

I have outbounded to several end users for my 3 domains that i bough earlier this month, i have also done follow up on 2 of the domains but i only received a reply from one end user and he didn't show interest. I did a second follow up on one of the domains, yet no response. I'm now wondering if it's due to my location.
So experts in this business, should i use another email to outbound with VPN?

Please, how do I convince him to pay me and hold the domain till when the buyer is ready to accept the transfer.

Welcome to Escrow 101.

Epik is the escrow, not the buyer. Standard escrow procedure is that seller gets paid when buyer receives good/service purchased.

Anything else is not the norm.

Buy more quality names. Some have tried 20 names this month, yet no sales. Keep working hard and smart. I await your sales report.

I had the same issue with Epik some weeks ago. Tony said the reason for this is because 'our Nigerian Folks' tell the end user that the domain can be transferred knowing fully well the domain is still under 60 days lock.
In some cases, the end user requests for a refund after Epik must have paid the seller.
