From what is going on in UCAP, looks like dividend will be 60k. Volumes are packed @ 6:50 to 6:60.

My opinion.

Vitafoam at 8.05 is too cheap going by the Q1 EPS of 80 kobo
Guinness at 22 is cheap as the company churned out a positive EPS in the Q2 result(NOT YEAR TO DATE).

My opinion:
VITAFOAM:
** The price of Vitafoam @CP, N8 is okay BUT you can go for other dividend paying stocks FOR NOW.
Reason: Vitafoam recently declared and was marked down for dividend.
Those holding it may want to sell at any market price so as to key into other stocks we are awaiting dividends from..........this may in turn make them to crash the price small......
You can wait at the dip and use the opportunity to pick some units because they're still coming back for it later.

GUINNESS:
@samguru adviced that we should buy due to some privileged info yet to be made public and he gave likely events that may make the share price attractive in the short run. You can pick some units here or be picking in tranches, depending on how deep your pocket is........and then wait patiently.

I don't see Vitafoam going more than N10 this year judging by it's past 10 years record. The current price is even too high. I will advise waiting for it to crash before buying.

Going by the books/financials, Vitafoam is not expensive BUT, going by its nature and behaviour on the floor, it's not a "loud" stock but a slow and steady one, which normally responds mostly to results/coming results or maybe bull season.
It's a stock mostly for dividend/long term investors.
Therefore, he could just keep eye on it if he has spare funds and be picking at dips, he can't go wrong with this eventually.
My opinion.

shocked shocked shocked shocked

Hmmmm. But the current result says otherwise when compared the results from the last 10years.

Or are you implying that results don't matter anymore? With a positive result (declaring higher profits), I believe this ought to impact the PS.

My 10 cent opinion. cool

My investment decision is purely predicated on what the financials is saying and not on the history of the share price.

I feel like crying now. Something told me to buy Seplat at 495 last week, I dismissed it. When I saw the price at 549 on Monday, I nearly cried. Is it wise to buy now?

What's responsible for the increased profit? I earlier thought judging from last year lockdown and current economic climate, they should be recording very low profit or loss. I will appreciate your answer.

Wait till March 1st when the audited result will be released, becuase we dont know if the recent/present crude oil price rally has been factored in the current price

1.Vitafoam has innovated products that are consumers' delight
2.the company is fast capturing the sofa market (bed, chair, etc) from the players in the furniture business.
3.The company has intensified her effort to make her products visible and available in every part of the country and outside Nigeria.
4.Strong partnership with E-commerce companies.
5.Vitafoam mattress is the most preferred General and Private Hospitals in Nigeria by the virtue of the acquisition of the VONO foam.

These are the reasons the turnover keeps increasing YoY.

Vitafoam mattress is also good for you grin grin grin
