Sharmeenator: Oh my goodness How can you do this Sir ? This is why, senior members always say do your due diligence because some opinions are based on partial information. Others might even be correct but may take a month, 6 months or a year to actualize and investor must be sure they can go the distance Pls non senior members like me if you know your information is one sided, we all appreciate it and thank you to mention the technical or fundamental analysis utilized to derive the conclusion/prediction @y’all, if you are not in the market yet and are looking at medium to long term and are not good at day trading and jijo, you can see the market is going down, why not wait abit till you are abit sure it won’t sink too low Its common knowledge that prices fall after dividends payments and if they are falling now already then what do you think will happen after dividends Due Diligence is keenly advised Record sell-offs persists in medium and low capitalized Nigerian stocks https://nairametrics.com/2021/02/16/record-sell-offs-persists-in-medium-and-low-capitalized-nigerian-stocks/ Nigeria’s inflation hits 16.47% as food prices soar to record high https://nairametrics.com/2021/02/16/nigerias-inflation-hits-to-16-47-as-food-prices-soar-to-record-high/ By working together we can achieve great things

Kindly recommend other dividend paying stock that we can buy now? Do you advise those that have vitafoam to exit and enter later when the price dip? Thanks Mcy56: |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Ethnan: 5:45pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Thanks everyone. Was nursing the same view that its good to wait until after dividend payout before any buying. Very likely, prices will further crash after that. We hold and watch when to dive in. I am new here. You guys should welcome me mbok. Wonderful contributions indeed from everyone. Kind Regards and God bless 3 Likes |

Let Inflation meet your Money Working Even if inflation rate is increasing let it always meet your money in a reasonable investment; it helps no matter how bad the economy is doing. 1 Like |

kalkah:Quite a lot of consistent dividend paying stocks on the exchange. AFRIPRUD will soon release Q4 result, (usually b4 Feb ending)....... so also Ucap, some banking stocks and quite some in other sectors. ** Watch out for bargain entries** For the 2nd part, NO! Not advisable to exit and re-enter again. Rather, buy more at lower price if you have steady flow of income and not in urgent need of the fund. Increase your stake instead. VITAFOAM is a good stock and will be increasing steadily as time goes on. Some people bought below N3, still keeping till date and increasing their holdings......the bigger the better. ** Remember this is subjected to other factors........if you picked much lower and you're sitting on profit after dividend markdown, you may sell to enter another dividend paying stock.......in short, it depends on your INVESTMENT OBJ and FUND AVAILABILITY. 1 Like |

E Ku Market o. Seems FBNH result is around the corner.......the type of volumes @7.30 there...... That's how they'll be buying and selling upandan........to align with these moneybags requires a lot of patience...... FCMB: Sold down to @3.06........back to @3.20 again ..... MANSARD:. Planning to pay Dividend for FYE 2020.........planned reconstruction is still holding this stock down...... A good bargain should it get to 1.05 and below....... FIDELITY: Getting a lot of attention and dumping......down to @2.30........Bargain hunters should keep eye on this space......it may be a strategy to crash the price so as to enter cheaper or lower.........lol..... DD applies, I may be wrong........ 4 Likes 1 Share |

samguru: Let me add 2 important reasons which are: 1. Sourcing of very cheap raw materials polyols and diisocyanates derived from crude oil, used in the manufacture of foam- ie polyurethane foam. This is due to crude oil price crash. 2. Good management. 2 Likes |

marylandcakes: What I normally advice my diaspora clients is to just ask from any contact person in Nigeria and use the bill your name doesn't need to be on the utility bill. It can be a family or friend. In that case, it's the address on the utility bill sent to you that you will supply on the online form as your residential and contact address. The truth is that it's just SEC regulations all correspondence is by email. The physical address is not used. 1 Like |
