I earlier made a post that you must make it cleae your wife to be before marriage that she's going to become a member of your family and not vice versa this is a first step and this is impression you must create from the very beginning. A woman who brings a member member of her family to decide what happens in her home, it's not yet prepared for marriage I also think the fault comes from the man. You have to make it clear from the beginning she's now a member of your family my advice to you is to allow her to stay with her mother so that you don't die of depression when she sees her mistakes, she may change 2 Likes |

The proper thing is for your wife to bring the baby to your house. By way your wife must be bold to raise her hand to slap you! Under no circumstance must one tolerate a violent spouse! 2 Likes 1 Share |

TainyLite:. Hmmm, a very delicate matter, but reason it this way...... When your son gets of age and he's told that you didn't come see him for days/weeks after his birth, because you had a misunderstanding with your wife ; are you willing to live with that regret; how would you face your boy?? 6 Likes |

You as a husband and father you have failed. No matter how busy you are, you should be the one to take the placenta of your child and bury it also why do you want to divorce your wife, it is for better or for worse. I am pissed off by you. 2 Likes |

TainyLite: A lot more is wrong with your approach and character than with hers. Work on yourself. Find your own faults and make amends before trying to force change on others. You are as guilty as your wife. Yes I said so. You can pretend and defend yourself, but nothing concealed is truly hidden. Do not lose her because you will regret it! 7 Likes |

TainyLite:You can make your stand but Placenta should not be an issue with u. it means nothing. so far the wife trusts her mum for it, then it should not be your problem. however, you can make your stand and ask your wife to come to see u. I would like to know, if you beat her or not, if you did not lay your hand on her and it's just misunderstanding, then let her come and beg her yourself, it's not her mom that will be making the demand for you. call your wife and toast her to come home that u are missing her n the baby |

My dear, you should thank Almighty God for your wife's safe delivery. What will you do with placenta? Will you sell it? This is very irrelevant. To say you won't visit and see your baby, means you are immature. Remove that unnecessary poverty stricken pride and do the needful. 7 Likes |

Kriss216: It's very unfortunate you may have bn mingling with the wrong set of girls. You are so choked wt their bad love that you never believed there are still good ones out there that may not take material things as their priority. I will also advise you to check urslf if the problem is from you. One Love 4 Likes |

How long has this been going on? Before the pregnancy or after the pregnancy? Trust me, pregnancy can make good women exhibit questionable characters...it gets worst days after giving birth. Please forgive your wife and let peace reign. She needs more of your presence now, not just money. The issue of 'who buried placenta' shouldn't be the reason for a divorce. God bless you! 2 Likes |

Before your wife knew you she knew her mum first..as a christain there is nothing special 8n a placenta it is waste smelling product.go and settle your home cux of your children...i once exlerienced or grew up in a broken home its not a good experience for an emptional child.talk to your wife..settle your family..note.there is no way she is abandoning her mum for you.you can only instill a level of control.use wisdom to handle this and thk me latter.though we men are very proud..how did u meet your wife.did u see her walk by you and u chased her cuz of breast or assss.i keep telling people marry a friend...these things will fade away before she gets to 40 2 Likes |

Op, there's nothing wrong about whoever buried the placenta of the new born, so far it's affirmed it had been buried! It will cause foul odor if left unburied after 24hrs. Go nd name the baby & stop been stupid 6 Likes |

alexola20:The marriage is already threatened because the Op has stuck to a mentality I still don't understand where it arose from:this spiritual attachment to the placenta in Nigeria. If anything bad happens to him or he has any kind of challenge he would attribute it to the mother-in-law and claim that was what she used the placenta for,'tying his destiny'. Any fly that buzzes round his ear,any stone he mistakenly kicks and every financial/life challenge now has a ready made cause, his destiny buried with the placenta. This is a union headed to the rocks, harsh as it may sound. 7 Likes 1 Share |
