eziokwunwoko: If you are going to buy, buy 3 working days before the 5th. You can't sell during the period when the register is closed. You will need to watch the market like a hawk to know when to sell after the register opens because the price usually falls at this period. 1 Like |

maishai:Honestly, I'm yet to know the main reason behind these predictions that UCAP will fall badly. A company that's consistently improving on her performances Q on Q, consistently paying dividends and moving up gradually. Even if UCAP will fall, I blvd it's going to be a general market thing.......and not singly. My cost price was 3.21 and was even thinking I bought @ higher price that time (before Corona issue)........went as low as N1.90 during Covid period and one of the stocks that quickly bounced back. Today the price already left that territory, so I don't really understand oo. Maybe we can learn more on events that may likely take it down....... 4 Likes |

It appears our Naira is officially devalued again (how many times now?) by Emefiele. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-02-27/nigerian-central-bank-governor-suggests-naira-has-been-devalued |

119mba: I wonder the type of education our leaders acquired. Africans would be boasting of first class and professorial caps when what they did to aquire their academic laurels was only copy and paste, memorise and download, without ability to use their brains to profer solutions to problems. That is the bane of african development. Nigerian leaders can't think about providing infrastructure and general industrial climate, encourage investments and provide credit facilities, provide security and other incentives to attract foreign investors with the overall aim of boosting economic activities for national economic development that would result in a strong naira. It therefore appears that the only thing that our economists learned from 'Nigerian school of economics' is to periodically devalue the naira in order to accommodate it's dollar master and perpetually subject the nation to the labyrinth of western economic subjugation and slavery. Finally, our cbn governor is always eager to take instructions from Europe to devalue our naira. No brains. Very unfortunate. 9 Likes |

Toluway: It is not rocket science. All we need to do is for Nigerians to be innovative and set up companies with products and services that others will want. Right now the only thing we produce (which is not due to any innovation) that the world need is oil! So if you want a strong Naira, have a company that produces goods and services that others are willing to pay for. That will require first and foremost innovation! 8 Likes 1 Share |

I suspect Custodian wants to play big in infrastructure concessioning by this govt. And UAC Prop is the vehicle..... Just a random thought. I tried to wind their 'oga at the top' to see what i could gleen.... but the baba knew where i was going and kept sealed lips. This is definitely one for the future. seyisanya: |

yMcy56:Agriculture and Telecommunications actually actually lifted Nigeria from the last recession; according to the federal government. Mining would be the next major source, if the operators would not be too lazy or complacent to exploit it. Nigeria think better whenever there is pressure to mitigate recession climate. The resources are there. This is God's own country. Europe would always envy us. Our state of deprivation is privation to us. The country is blessed with inexhaustible natural resources. No matter how much stealing is going on, the economy would not die. The problem is distribution of resources. There is too much gap between the have and have-nots. Another problem is insane borrowing. Stealing, borrowing and stealing what is borrowed. A vicious circle. 2 Likes 1 Share |
