Good observation!
Those Meristem users have the carriage of "we are above issues" because they pay higher fees and believed their broker is the best...... grin

Thank God it's not Morgan, you would have read different 'mockery' comments like......."when you like cheap things", what do you expect when you pay so low for a service,.........etc. grin

I can remember one time like that: Someone came to make inquiry of which broker to use and he mentioned the likely big amount he wished to invest.........they "cropped" Morgan out and were mentioning the likes of Stanbic, Meristem............na me come say hahaaa, why you no mention Morgan Capital nah? I come mention am........grin

FCMB TO PAY DIVIDEND
http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/32483_FCMB_GROUP_PLC%20FCMB_GROUP_PLC%20_OUTCOME_OF_BOARD_MEETIN.pdf

I just went through fcmb's results q1 to q3. EPS as at q3 is 70k as opposed to 58k 2019(26% increase).

My projected EPS FY will be btw 90-95k so possibility of 20k dividend is likely. And with the acquisition of 96% stake in Aiico pension, it should reflect positively on their FY balance sheet interms of income fees.

As for mobil plc, why sell your shares except you bought above #186. I think the delisting will deliver better return for shareholders going forward. Am not selling mine.

@Mcy. Welldone as always.

After holding above 40k for 4 weeks. I don't think the fall will be brutal like when FPIs are exiting the market. Domestic investors currently dominate the market. Slow but steady drop.
NTB 1yr pegged @ 5.5% though

Good perspective. but i think NTB 1yrs is 5.5% (this week auction). the 10% is OMO which i dont think affect NSE that much because that market is only open to FPI & Banks (i dont even think its open to PFA, not to talk of retail). its the NTB that i think affect the NSE quite much cos its open to all comers

the fall i think would correlate (inversely) with the NTB rate. if the NTB approach 7-9% you can expect a steep fall, however the signal wld first come from OMO cos if NTB is to rise then OMO wld rise ahead of it just as was the case some few weeks ago.

What are their dividend payments for 2019 and 2020?
For 2019 FYE paid in 2020, it's 0.45kobo ..........(0.10kobo interim and 0.35kobo final dividend)
Same thing for 2018 FYE paid in 2019.

Seems they paid interim dividend of 0.10kobo for 2020 already yet to announce final dividend.

I also expect FCMB to pay up to 20kobo.
14kobo was paid in the last financial year.
We wait and see what they're coming with.

As for Mobil, I agree, think the best bet for those who bought at higher price especially is to leave it and continue enjoying dividends.
Mobil is just delisting on NSE and relisting on NASD OTC.
Thanks bro.

FCMB is another Vita foam in making, their final EPs will likely cross #1. and dividend of 20 kobo and above.

Buy before 5th and sell after 15th to avoid any stories from the registrars.

UCAP right now is for seasoned traders, except you want to key in for long term, in fact very long term or should i say life time.............. In 6 months time UCAP price will fall to u=its year low

It's also good to have cscs online account for viewing your portfolios and bonus shares

Hello all,

I am trying to locate some shares owned by an elderly aunt for her. She know the name of the companies she has shares in but can't find documentation for some again. How can I get the shares' details for her?

I tried using this link //sec.gov.ng/non-mandated/ but according to her not all her shares are listed.

She need the account number for e-dividend registration.

Thanks.
