Maiyakz:
Morning guys,

Please I have some few questions. Just filling out the dependant visa and got to the point for the documents required.

Can my fiancée book and go for a TB test with just her passport or is there any documents she might need to take with her?
Can we pay for the TB test with my UK bank card and how much is it pls?
Her trip is for November and the TB test is valid for six months, will that affect her trip?
Thanks for your anticipated response. smiley
hold up... fiance filling dependent visa?? Pls get married first before starting any of this. Because on the tb test form/date collection at the centre they shall say what visa is this.... Settlement-dependent .. and she will have to fill in your details in one of the parts. Get married first.
Pls get married first. Yes u can pay for the tb test. It is usually 57,800 naira.. dnt know what a pounds card will deduct.
Her tb test must be valid throughout the time of her visa application at least.. so dnt rush into anything

Please, house. In my last tour to the UK in 2017, I didn’t know anyone as I went for vacation/tourism, stayed a week & returned. Now I have a sibling there & would be using invitation letter with my dota now, he relocated there 2018. In my old application the column for family was NO. Would there be a red flag if he sends an invitation, I most likely would be staying in the hotel say 7 days (isolation as they put it) & stay with them the other 3days (10days in total) will it fly? Does he still need to send an IV? And if he is, what docs would/should be attached? Edakun!!! I know my questions are kinda clichè. I’m at a cross road as I’ve started filling my form. Also we (my dota & I) intend traveling in May, is it too far from application time (now)?

If you didnt have anyone then and you now have someone now, I dnt think you have any faults in tht aspect, so I am lost at the red flag part.
If he is sending an invitation, he should pls make it a complete letter. .. he must state who you are, why you are coming, who you are coming with, where you are coming to, for how long you will be there, his happiness to sponsor feeding/transport/stay anythin he is sponsoring should be stated in clear terms.. if it exceeds accommodation then let him attach his bank statements so the visa officer can gauge his financial capabilities.
The day you are going back must also be in d letter...

U are allowed to apply for visa up to 3 months before your intended travel dates... my only worry now is the state of uncertainty with these travels at this pandemic period.. there is no tourism going on whatsoever in the UK.. most places are locked up and travel is not ongoin except essential...
So in my opinion you need to either come out with ur full chest and say you and your daughter are going for family visit to your brother and be ready to convince the ECO as to why it is needed at this time or dnt apply at all.
If you are going to state ur reason as to see ur brother pls come up with plenty stories as to how u people are so close bla bla and need to see each other and any other emotionally tasking stuff u can come up with...
Tourism is not ongoing now

Is okay bro, please can I apply for the super priority in June, July for resumption in September. I'm also pulling for Canada but I want the UK toake their decision so I can pause canada own or totally cancel it.

UK SPV is decided within 24hrs. However there is no guarantee and it does not imply that the applicant will be successful if the immigration rules have not been met as stated.

Please ensure u ask ur brother to add all those information Giselle mentioned in his invitation letter. I believe it will be a very big plus. I did the same on the invitation letter for my mum

Good Evening Guru in the house..

I need your contribution and clarifications, my wife and my 2 years old son wish to pay my wife sister a visit in the UK.

The sister and her husband are British citizens and have the capacity to accommodate and take care of their needs during the visit.

I the husband on the other hand works with a regional organization and I've exhausted a large chunk of my annual leave, so I won't be going with them. My wife does personal business cash flow to her personal account is not really on the high side. I will be the one funding the travelling expenses, her sister & her husband catering for their needs in UK.

I need your advice on way to go

Most of those slots are blocked to push people to spend money on PV and SPV.

Hello house,
Please if you enroll for a master's degree fully online but will attend the graduation ceremony in the UK, can you still be eligible for a work permit?. Secondly is there any advantage in taking this route as a yardstick to travel abroad since the financial implications can't be met?

No. If you study online you aren't eligible for a tier 4 visa. Hence not eligible to get the student work permit of 20hrs per week during term time

Hello justwise, please i have a family member who wants to send me invitation to UK but he wants me to inquire on the processes i need to take here in nigeria 1st & required documents. What do i need to do 1st? I'm confused. Do i go to d embassy to ask questions? Will they allow me to enter without appointment?

Good morning to everyone on here. Trust we are doing good. Please I would appreciate if anyone can help me clarify some things here

1. Does British airline accept naira debit Mastercard to book flights if one is going to the UK

2. I heard car insurance is quite expensive in the UK. Please Which of the following licence will give a lower insurance cost? The Nigeria driver's licence? International driver's licence or UK Provisional licence? And also can i have an idea of the costs as well? Can license have some kind of little impact on insurance especially for new entrants, someone mentioned it does but I am not sure.

Thanks as you take your time to enlightene me

Are they still allowing walk in appointment? Seems all the free self service slots are not just working. Always redirecting to Super Priority. Who's having same issues?

U can only pay with dormicilliary cards as all naira mastercards have 100usd cutoff or alternatively book on wakanow or call the british airways lagos abuja office, they will tell you the naira equivalent to pay and where to pay it.
What do you mean as new entrant?
