Did you hear about the primary school that cost over 4 million at lekki? Was it Oyedepo that has it?

Did you make comments about the school?

Was the school a higher institution?

Oga go take your drug and stop follow follow things. Be different
You are defending him, I guess?

It's painful seeing people throw shades at your pastor?

That is how it is meant to be.How can they go about preaching to their members to give to the needy when they are not doing so.

Basically and by divine design Nigerians are naturally stupid.
A man has used his sweat to create an empire in Christ
Build Universities without government influence
Employed lecturers in University
Employed teachers in primary and secondary schools.
Employed pastors in Church branches
But Nigerians still want him to be poor or should be giving them palliative
Some said the university is expensive but the want the lecturers not to go on strike and hotels and other amenities on the school to me of standard is the money going to come from heaven
The useless politicians they will line up in the sun and vote for will only give the 2k before election to spend for 4 years but is pastors that is there problem

Ok let me answer you straight since you don't have a dictionary. Pastoring is a vocation.

Church is a business. Hope you add this to your brain too.

Oyedepo is not my pastor. Though he pastored me over 5 years ago. I don't attend winners again.

Last 3 years I attended Christ embassy. I know most of these churches to talk about them because I have been there.

Don't stay outside to talk nonsense. Attend some of these church and see things for yourself and stop filling your brain with someone's opinion.

The question you ask is, is pastor a vocation? To be honest with you it just gave me a general view of the people making comments here.

Yes! It's a vocation. Did you get it now.

Have you been to winners before? Some of you will be talking rubbish without taking a step to verify them.
I've been to Ota headqiarters atleast twice sir and visited various other parishes/centres too.
The message is centered on prosperity, obedience in serving God and of course evangelism.

I simply let you know that whenever prosperity is exalted over righteousness, prosperity by any means always wins.

Which is why the Bible categorically says that the Love of money is the root of all evil.
That it is impossible to serve two masters, you'll either choose God or Mammon (prosperity).

Likewise Jesus told his disciples that it is impossible for a rich man to make heaven just like a cattle making it into the eye of a needle. Though he added that but with God anything is possible.

I'm letting you know basically that you that while the bible is not against prosperity, 3 John:1:2.
When you prioritize prosperity over righteousness, the love of money often takes over.

Explain to me what you mean by righteousness and prosperity as preached by winners and the ones you see as a model.

Because I don't actually get it.

Righteousness simply put is doing what is right.

Prosperity gospel is simply preaching the gospel for gain. 1 Timothy 6 expounds more on this.

The first generation of Politicians that took over from the white started well until political religionists came with their ideologies ~
"Give your life to God and get back double fold"
So our people began dropping what they supposed to do (work) and going to church only to donate their life savings for Political religionists like Mr David.

All the industries were shut down replaced with Churches and Schools so that Nigeria has nothing to exchange with other nations as crops then our people began looking up to the sky! undecided
Our children went to Schools only to come out and find out that there is no jobs for them, they can either teach or serve in hotels or sell their bodies as prostitutes.
So change starts with each of us as we invest in double fold, stop building event centers, churches and schools, these ventures doesn't make any meaningful exchange so nothing can change! undecided

:You are also part of Nigeria problem building churches no factories so all the workers and the lecturers that are working there are doing it for free abi? Nonsense

I bet all those Nigerians fleeing to Europe and America on daily basis are going to work in churches over there abi. see reasoning. you are not doing your work well and must be fired by Oyedepo
But Where do majority of those who flee end up? Right back in those same churches they left back in Nigeria.

These business men you call MOGs have succeeded in using the McDonald business model to turn Nigerians into addicts, wherever they go.

Nigerians you find in Europe and America also loose there brain where their "churches" are concerned. Even when economy bad, they must go and throw money at pastor so that all will be well for them.

But this same man prophesied Nigeria would be a world power in 2020.

Lemme check for that prophecy, as the internet never forgets.

Winners people, please help me explain o. Was Bishop Oyedepo’s prophecy/declaration he made in 2010 (the above link) a false one? Because I can’t understand how his prophecy reconciles with the topic of this thread now.

An empire in Christ? See how that even rolls off of you as if Jesus Christ in fact called men to build Him such an empire.

Jesus Christ never even said that His Kingdom will be built by the hands of men. Jesus Christ never once instructed His followers to build anything in His Name. He told His very disciples that in His Father's house there are already many mansions there and He goes to prepare a place there for them.
Yet, here we have someone who supposes himself a follower of Jesus Christ suggesting that instead, an empire built of man-made structures if what Christ commanded? God told men that He does not reside in man-made structures, yet here you, bullishly declare that a man-made empire is what God deserves. Can you reject the teaching of God and still be of God? undecided

So he's obviously saying Christians and Muslims have not changed because they constitute the majority of religious folks in this country.

Why am I not surprise.
