soulpeppersoup: No matter how your see it... These so-called men of God are a huge problem to Nigeria. So, because a school in Lekki charges N4million, church owned institutions should charge same or above? What is the essence of setting up a school when more than 99% of your members can't afford to send their children / wards there? Abi nor be church money dem take build the schools? All they know how to do is, mount their pulpits and say all sorts of nonsense about persons in leadership. |

specialmati: I hope they will hear o. If you're truly called by God, God will not call you to become a beggar. The God that call you will supply aaaallllllllll your needs according to His riches in glory. Children of perdition will never get it into their skull. |

Jeffyblaq:Not all schools are built to be affordable. Some have to be built to fill the void created by others. If I decide to set up a school for microbiology and decide each student must have unhindered access to their own electron microscope that costs, let us say, N10m, then the cost of that microscope should reflect in their school fess over 4 years as extra N2.5m every year. A person looking at this school from a certificate earning perspective may find the fee outrageous because there are cheaper alternatives or schools around. It depends on the vision of the founder of the school as per standard. |

Antoeni:In a country where terror, jihad ruins you want Christianity to shut up, stop being rich to resist challenge by non Christians and government? Looking at Kaduna, Benue, Yola crisis. The church must be rich to resist being overrun. If you don't like it join another religion. They will not back down, weaken by those who trying hard to see them fall both foreign and locals. We understand church is run by man cannot say to be perfect despite the members shortcomings, Evaluate self, church still a merited place to be. 1 Like |

ibedun: You are just typing nonsense. If I trust a pastor with my money towards God. The money doesn't fall under the control of the govt in anyway. If I feel my money is being used against my understanding, I can withdraw from that church anyday anytime. |

Standing5: Since the money you (and millions of other Nigerian citizens) contribute to the church cannot be claimed it inherited by any individuals, the assets and funds ultimately belongs to the people I.e. the government. If the pastor converts the money for his personal use, that is FRAUD! And the pastor has committed a criminal offence. Your withdrawal from the church is not sufficient deterrent. |

lexy2014: How can you not know? First, their doctrines and teachings are chiefly responsible for the terrible 'craze' for materialism, especially amongst the youths. You need to see how their eyes 'shine' while watching in estacy as yahoo boys give offerings and tithes in their Churches... Their opulent and lavish lifestyles are bad precedences for the upcoming and next generations. Abeg, just leave me alone this afternoon o. |

JayJohnson:How many of the members can afford such school fees? My sister and her family that always carry this church for head...all the papa say ........ She will be the first to go to Shiloh every year, shiloh sacrifice etc for over 10years now..... Today she is asking for a school that is less expensive for her daughter who is about to enter secondary school...... I'm like so after all these years of sacrifice and still sacrificing for them yet ordinary school they can't subsidize for you?...... This is nothing but wickedness/scam........ |

Henrydonland: Just wondering how much you have giving to him as a person Possibly a NIL naira Yet you open mouth blah blah blah... When people get frustrated, every other person's succcess becomes a threat to them Talking about private jets, am sure the man of God has never ask you not to buy so why complaining? Again, if you think a pastor should not be rich, or Oyedepo is not doing church as God want it, my brother, go get yourself an auditorium and start a church so others can learn, Lastly, if u see OYEDEPO near you, u no go know when you lie down greet |
