WHEN THE CHURCH BECOMES A BUSINESS

1) Pastors function like CEOs
2) Members are turned into customers
3) Other churches are seen as competitions
4) Evangelism is reduced to marketing
5) Church planting looks more like franchising.

6) Numbers are primary measure of success
7) Prayer and Word study are replaced by formulas
cool Revival is reduced to a few days fund-raising
program
9) Preaching sounds more like motivational speech. All the people do is shout "I receive, Amen," throughout the concert. I mean the "service".

10) Praise and Worship is turned into a
performance. The best actors are made the worship and praise leaders.
11) The Spirit of God is reduced to "emotionalism". No real power of God other than hypnosis and sensationalism.

12) The saints are entertained instead of equipped
13) Disciples of Christ have become papa's sons, daughters and fans.
14) The Church, a living Body has now become a lifeless body
15) A leader's empire is built instead of the
Kingdom of God advanced
16) The pastor becomes the super man and Jesus Christ reduced to just another religious figure.

Uhmmmm..

Deep.

Basically and by divine design Nigerians are naturally stupid.
A man has used his sweat to create an empire in Christ
Build Universities without government influence
Employed lecturers in University
Employed teachers in primary and secondary schools.
Employed pastors in Church branches
But Nigerians still want him to be poor or should be giving them palliative
Some said the university is expensive but the want the lecturers not to go on strike and hotels and other amenities on the school to me of standard is the money going to come from heaven
The useless politicians they will line up in the sun and vote for will only give the 2k before election to spend for 4 years but is pastors that is there problem
God bless you may your days be long with good wealth and good health. They want every pastor to be poor forgetting that the God that called them is a wealthy God.i don't engage them in discussing pastors because most of them dont know the kind of scarifies this pastors make for God to bless them

We don't need universities, we need vocational centres and factories. Teach people how to build things and get factories running. We have better artisans, better products and it will reduce the number of imported goods

Churches having schools is not the issue but my worry is that majority of those who can afford to put their children in the schools are non church members and unbelievers. Most real church members, workers cant afford the schools.

The university is it increasing or decreasing our unemployment rate? Yes CU is increasing Nigeria's unemployment rate. Because all the gadgets that is been used in both Oyedepo universities and churches ar not produce by his universities graduates.
We don't need universities or religious centers in Africa, they ar both determinants to increase in unemployment rate. We need factories and technical training centers, where direct human consumption goods and services ar products. China as a country is 40 times richer than the entire Africa as continent. They have massive factories and technical training centers not those theoretical universities and churches we hav here.

It is not the responsibility of the church to build factories. Hold your politicians accountable instead of chasing shadows
So what is the essence of all the monetary contribution (compulsorily) to the church?......

Like I ask someone, his financial contribution to the church is ten times even more bigger than the tax he pays to the government, the government provides basic infrastructures we are all enjoying but church can not help him, even the members........

A lot people don't understand the reason there is church, sadly

Does one have to go to winners to verify anything?
The evidence is there nah. The actions of the average winner is evidence enough. The good book says by their fruits....
