bros
can you give me the tyre schematics for 225/45R17 and 235/45R17

car is VW jetta 2002

Google tìrẹ calculator, first result. Input values and compare.

The 235 has a slightly bigger but stick with either 225/45R17 or 205/55R16.

Good day guys, please guys, is there any timeframe for one to refill or top up car Air Conditioner gas irrespective of perfomance? I have been using mine for about one year running now, and it's the one that came with the car as I am yet to top up the gas or anything, although, I feel my other car that I topped up seems to 'chill' more than this one.

It's a closed loop system, ẹ no need top up if e no dey leak. Ask your car wash to blow the condenser and change your cabin filter then report back on the chill.

One man living close to me bought this camry (maybe 04) with large rims and tyres with raised shock absorbers.

Car has a very good ground clearance and looks bigger and very fine, haven't seen a finer big daddy than his all my life smiley

All thanks to the rims and tyres alone.
Is it possible to increase it without changing the rim ,I'm not financially buoyant.

Oga I hail. Please I need to replace my car battery. My current battery is 75ah, but I'm thinking of replacing it with a 100ah battery because my car is a Toyota Highlander 2004. I'm looking at something like this:

Will it work? Also, can you recommend a reliable battery brand? Thanks in advance.

100ah battery will not fit in your engine bay. Your vehicle was designed for 75ah

Take it to a competent tech, to hook up guage. That would reveal if the system needs gas.

Chief Gazzuzz, my 07 Avalon's fuel consumption is on the high side, averaging around 12 - 14mpg most of the time. I fill up around 65litres every week. Dashboard clean, no error code on scanning. Car works fine in every other way and fuel consumption has been like that since I bought it.

A mechanic suggested that he can do a kind of work or tuning on the engine/car to reduce the fuel consumption and that it won't affect the car in any way, but I'm skeptical of going along with that lol.

Pls advise me. Thanks

Trouble dey sleep, nyanga wan go wake am. Your car is alright. Your mpg is as expected. It's a v6 in a heavy car. If you want 22mpg, sell and buy a small 4 cylinder car.

Roughly how many miles do you cover in a week, and check if the car thermostat is in place. As small as it is(thermostat), it can make a world of difference in your mpg

I am guessing by your your post that you drive in lagos. There is no way you drive in lagos and will meet the advertised mpg of your car. Not possible unless you drive only very early in the mornings and very late at night.
Our fuel is crap. You car is fine. To improve your mpg, reduce the amount of time you spend idling and enjoying ac, drive like a granny, carry fewer people or fewer loads, plan your journeys to avoid rush hours and traffic. All these na suffer head things but that's what you gotta do to improve your mpg. smiley

Improve your MPG up to 2 percent by using the grade of oil recommended in your owner’s manual.

Please recheck the online data again. Avalon can’t be 20mpg in the city. That is what a 4 cylinder sedan was meant to drive and you can’t even get that in Naija with our type of fuel.

Your car is 2GR engine despite the size of the jeep. Try this battery code 80D26L, hitachi, 12V 70ah. by company recommendation. You will be amazed

GAZZUZ and all the car gurus, i need urgent help

Pls my Toyota matrix 06 consumes fuel a little bit more than normal.

I replaced d air intake filter, cleaned the throttle body with cab cleaner, welds exhaust leaks, already bought original NGK spark plugs but yet to replaced, gas cap not clicking after lock, already ordered a new one but yet to arrive.

I did a scan & d following code popped up: P0420
P0441
P0128.

Which of these is d real culprit & How do i eliminate them?

Pls i need help, i bought this car specifically because of fuel economy.

P0420 is catalyst inefficient. means due to the age of your car or if it as removed before it was bought, your car has no catalyst which is directly proportional to excessive fuel consumption. Also you have some vacuum leaks somewhere in your engine which may cause lag but before changing focusing on the catalyst please just check for leaks, air leaks from the engine bay. this can result in catalyst codes also.

Since yesterday my car temperature goes slightly above middle and sometimes even goes to high when my AC is on and in in stagnant Traffic for a while. When I turn the AC off it comes back to the middle

Please gurus in the house kindly advice. My fans are working

Most times you did a job on the engine which resulted in removing your coolant and filling the cooling system again can cause this. especially for V6 engines if the cooling system has air traps in the block this can happen so please first open the radiator and leave the car on for some minutes, fill the radiator, when the thermostat opens the level of the radiator will drop chase it with water and keep revving the car to about 2rpm. until you see no bubbles from the radiator. then try to drive and repeat it till the block is full this should solve the issue. if not then according to GAZZUZZ radiator is restricted

Exactly revert immediately, the fans are programmed to come on after a certain temperature going to overheating or when you on the AC alone

Hello car experts,

Please what do we do about excessive fuel tank pressure for 07 LX470?

When we open the fuel cap After driving the car for more than 10 minutes, the build up pressure is much. When the car parked after driving it for a while, hissing/evaporation sounds can be heard and sometimes fumes can be seen.

We've tried driving around without the fuel cap screwed on but little improvement was seen.

Please any pointers on how to fix this?

Thank you very much.

Check your charcoal cannister. it might be routed wrongly

When I'm in traffic for a while with the AC on. The AC tends to go off and warm air starts blowing from the AC vents, but when there is no traffic and the AC is on and i am on high speed, the AC stays blowing cool air.

I don't understand what the cause could be

This is a common toyota issue with automatic compressor so either you change the compressor to manual or buy a new automatic compressor

Yes it is, I increased mine without changing neither tyres nor rims.

My mechanic adjusted the shock absorbers then called a welder to weld something there I think, but when he returned my car now has a good ground clearance.

I'm planning to change the Japanese exhaust he fixed for me because it didn't fit into the exhaust space well thereby occasionally hitting road bumps and stones on a bad road.
