its not like i don't like visual studio. Actually i made use of c# which is the most popular. Besides, high security organisations and corporate companies use mainly java, while low budget companies make do with vs. Visual studio has the natural forced support, since its owners have the most sought after OS.
I have several articles to backup these issues. Java can boast of over a decade in terms of experience over vs, but what visual studio has accomplished within five years is awesome.
People naturally tend to go after vs due to its simplicity and user friendly approach. Its an ideal tool, usually endeared by less-skilled programmers.
The technicallity of java can be a nightmare for many programmers, but once you find your way around you become addicted.

Hi Nairalanders. i'm a software engineer. I used to like visual studio(which I still do), but I switched to java and I really don' tthink i'll be coming back to Visual Studio. The power bestowesd on Java is awesome. I still find the codes kinda crazy, but It seems to work for me. The only drawback to me was that while Visual Studio is sole to Microsoft, Java is virtually open, so there are several IDEs like Netbeans, Jbuilder and co to workd with, and none are compatible with each other.
Well, thats my introductory view. Who's next?

you're right oldie. Gsm and cdma are very different platforms. In terms of browsing, gsm uses radio packet data while cdma useS CSD. Gprs on 3g is more than twice as fast as csd on 3g. i'm really amazed at the speed of starcomms broadband. The speed is incredible. I havnt used celtel internet connection before, but i hope it can at least beat starcomms broadband

for sometime now i have been looking for ways to download with mms. My target was finding a loose proxy. It used to work for me when i used starcomms. I got a huge load of proxies, i haven't tried all of it, but they seem promising, as some of them actually connected. Just pray i find a working one, then we could download like we used internet settings!

I don't care if you composed the webcam stuff yourself or not, there's nothing new under the sun. But you did well to bring it close to those who need it. Thats most important. I know quite alot when it comes to programming aspect of phones, but i prefer to listen to those who know better

good end dude. I used to know someone who calculated the algorithm behind MTN'S recharge cards. He however never gave out the cards. How they managed to locate him remains a mystery. Guess what?rather than have him be-headed, He was offered a high profile job with the network! according to him, they marveled at his technique and Hes still there tilll now.
so you could be lucky. Just walk into their office and tell them you have their recharge cards. Just pray the old manager is still there, else you'll leave there straight for crime fighters! They wont put recharge cards and laptop by your side when they show you on tv, they'll put guns and bullets!

Its quite simple
1) once your phone is connected, open internet explorer.
2)Click on tools and go to internet options.
3) Click on the connections tab, click on your phone in the list and click settings button next to it.
4)Check the box ( Use a proxy server for this connection) and (By pass bla bla bla).
5) for celtel, enter 172.18.254.5 and port 8080. Check your phone proxy. If using a different network, check the proxy settings in phone and do the same thing.
6) Click OK and reconnect. Dats all dude!
