BigIyanga: Coming from someone who only made $$ from being a public servant. When he was a lecturer at UNN, he didnt have houses in Enugu, Abj, Lagos, UK et al…until he became a CBN governor. He moved his family to UK… He accomplished all these with his govt salary?? The easiest thing to do in Nigeria is to become a saint when you are done looting. Especially if there has been a short period enough for the memory of Nigerians to forget after your tenure. |

If he could deal ruthlessly with Nigerians on his cement price and got away with it, how much more fuel......
Those hoping to buy fuel and cheaper rate have entered one chance According to a chronic pessimist. |

MartinCorridon: Chioma doesn't want to borrow him her skirts when wahala lands.
She also doesn't want to drink corpse water or fight his relatives over inheritance when he dies. The fact that she comes from a tribe where they give the women corpse water does not mean she is marrying into a tribe where they give women corpse water. Get exposed. Educate yourself. Your tribe has the exclusive right to giving widows corpse water. No other tribe does in Nigeria. |

In other words, Don't marry into a family into which they will attach a smallie to your wife when she is moving in with you and you will train that to secondary school level. Thereafter, they will replace that one and bring another smallie for you to train from primary school to secondary school again. By then, you don nearly reach 50. |

rinzaugustine: In the past 15-20 years almost every ongoing new building structure you see in Onitsha is assured to be a 5 storeys building and their have been zero collapse incidents until the past few months, I have seen more than 5 already meaning it’s is a growing trend that may be attributable to rising infiltration of fake building materials into the market. Soludo should reduce his gallivanting with big big grammar, work with structural engineers , inspectors in state ministry of works and focus on nipping this in the bud before it becomes a crisis Maybe Soludo should start resuming at construction sites first in the morning before going to his office. |

The solution to this Rivers imbroglio is simply a " political solution".
It is clear to both parties now that no side has a clear, legally backed position.
If things go one way, all the decisions taken by the 5 man HOA will be voided. If it goes the other, the 27 prodigal children will lose their seats.
Most importantly, the Nigerian jurisprudence is being enriched by the daily season film from the stable of Fubara Wike Production. |

These incidents can have severe consequences for the individuals involved and undermine the integrity and credibility of the institution. You are calling something that is normal practice unfortunate. If you go closer to civil servants, your ear go full. |

Politics › Re: Dangote Refinery Moves Date Of Petrol Production From June To Mid-July by ppogba: 12:18pm On Jun 11, 2024 |
Kenochi: I sense that Dangote Refinery is waiting for something, the organization is seriously hoping for what I believe is the realistic price of petrol The truth is Diesel and Aviation Fuel is being sold and it is being given out at between 950 to 1150 for marketers, nobody needs to tell you that Dangote Refinery can't sell below 800 naira to marketers,it is a no brainer The challenge now is who will pay the difference in price for his petrol,I am sure that he already has plans to start exporting it already to neighboring countries It is a tough call and I am sure we will be watching to see if Government will subsidize the Crude oil sold to him to stabilize the price I sincerely hope Nigerian Entrepreneurs take up the challenge and start looking at setting up industries around the byproduct of crude oil There are tens of products that can be produced and hopefully the Lagos State Government can collaborate with the Refinery to look at the possibility of generating and distribution of Electricity in Ibeju and Epe in Lagos and also places like Ogun Waterside LGA in Ogun State If this is done,Nigeria is ready for massive Industrialisation
Did I forget to mention the Coastal road also... Totally agree with the early part of your comments. I was telling someone that the last fuel supply imbroglio was artificially instigated. Truth is, there is more to the delay and now that the kite of the price in neighboring countries is being flown, me think the populace should not expect much of a difference from the prevailing price of the commodity for now. |

Rebuke: Lol. I have always said it, many people saying bad things about others and always quick to insult others online are usually unpresentable in real life.
Most of them are very ugly, wretched, jobless and always jealous of others doing well.
They hide behind their keyboards to pour dirt on others who are way ahead of them in every ramification of life.
They're many here on nairaland. Most of them will never agree to meet yhu physically because they know they're not presentable.
That's why always ignor them these days. Very vile and terrible set of dirty people. Totally agree with you especially the adjective " un- presentable". |

balladin: Finidi panicked after going down in the first half. Those second half subs were unnecessary. The midfield disappeared and he relied on hopeful long balls trusting Onuachu and Boniface. As he has seen, those things don't work. We didn't look dangerous going forward throughout the second half. He's still a rookie coach. No world cup for Nigeria. It's over. Totally agree with your first statement. That is where experience comes in. Good analysis my friend. |
