The criticism was based on the economic reality as at that time. The prices of goods are proportional to inflationary trend across the globe. The N20 as at that time is equivalent to about N900 now. |
Same way AD, ACN, AC used to be regional parties that couldn’t fly in the national engagement. |
To be the eyes, mind and brain of mr president. To avoid mr president being misguided Because the old man (present Tinubu) isn’t the same sound mind that governed Logos for 8 years. |
First governor in Abia since 1999. |
Meanwhile he turned us down. Pls which of the South West states are his parents from? |
A pastor who is more interested in the “happy hour” than the gospel. |
Why is ODHA changing speakers like Tinubu was changing deputies between 1999 to 2007? |
Just wait and see how herself and Seyi will start living larger than life. Extending her iyaloja general to the whole of Nigeria is controversial, power intoxication and proudful. She should be careful not to heap hatred for her father by people from other tribes. Her title is limited to Lagos alone, not even Abeokuta, Ibadan. She can’t exercise any marker authority over people in Kano or Onitsha. |
OkayDaddy:I’m from the sunshine state, so we don’t engage in what you wrote in your second paragraph. Not everyone who criticizes your lord (city boy) is from the East. Would you say Baba Adebanjo or Bode George are easterners? Stop getting it wrong. |
It is better to be poor for being truthful than to be rich through dubious and crooked means. |
That HIS EXCELLENCY is sycophantic by praise singers. |
Still waiting for the city boy in Aso Rock to make his first appointment. At least as a new president, the first set of aides to be appointed should be the Media aides and spokes person and Mr city boy is yet to appoint any. Does he want to break the Guinness book of records on this? |
While the much acclaimed city boy turned president is still keeping us guessing and yet to appoint a single aide. |
That integrity and character are not enough credentials for leadership. Intellectual Capacity, social relationship and courage are needed too. Buhari had moral integrity as a president, but lacked intellectual capacity, social relationships and courage to coordinate his government. |
Good way to start. He really needs to design a strategy to combat the menace of the killer herdsmen. |
Good way to go. Tinubu should engrave his loyalty in the hearts of Nigerians by punishing any erring filling station that hoard or sell petrol above the pump price. We should get it right this time. Imagine Nigerians doing this evil to fellow Nigerians. And some unlearned folks are still blaming the colonial masters. |
Very few Nigerians aspiring for leadership knows that leadership is a call to be a servant for all. We misdefine leadership as a reward and arrival system where we can be comfortable and complacent. Leaders who want to make meaningful changes do not sleep, they build mental capacity and surround themselves with best brains. But our politicians surrounded themselves with praise singers and morons. Leader is about service and thirst for a better tomorrow. |
The US secret service is still the oga patapata of then all. Those guys are light years ahead of other presidential guards anywhere in the world. Our own DSS are trained to bully oppositions to the party in power. |
We live in a world of mysteries. The world, creations and existence are beyond the physical and science. There are happenings beyond human imagination. |
See the cache of weapons stockpiled by an individual. These politicians arm the thugs to win elections and same thugs turn the weapons against defenseless citizens after the politicians dump them. |
And ours is a sitting president who could not produce a single dead or living classmate of his secondary school. |
Where is Margaret? She would have be the most beautiful First Lady in Nigeria if her husband, Obi had won. |
Where is Apapa? |
Buhari will start realizing the biblical maxim that “power belongs to God” He will now be isolated and all the queues will vanish. That’s life. “Enikan o laye, Igba la n ni” |
Welcome to the scene where of damage control and banters. The drama between Alake and Nigerians will be long and interesting From Akin Osuntokun (Ekiti), to Oluremi Oyo (Ogun), to Segun Adeniyi (Ondo), to Reuben Abati (Ogun), to Femi Adeshina (Osun) and now Dele Alake (Ekiti). Seems Yoruba are the best in damage control to the presidents and presidency |
Seyi Makinde gbe Auxilliary ni handicap |
Subsidy removal: who wins/gains at the end? FG, Fuel importers or the citizens? |
Seems the Lagos office of EFCC just opened a book of a powerful political thief and so, DSS in Lagos the attack dog to resist it. Let the fight begin! And the DSS is just waking up from its slumber after EFCC has been occupying that property since around 2002. EFCC has the power to investigate DSS for financial misappropriation while DSS can cook up a false allegation against EFCC officials for undermining our national security. Let the fight begin and let’s see who’ll win. |
babaolofin:Wale Babalakin bought it and was converting it to block of flats for rent, only God know why and how Lagos state claimed the building should be handed over to the state government. It became a subject of litigation and that stalled the property till now. Are you personally proud of the current look of that magnificent building? |
I foresee a big war between Fubara and Wike. Wike would want to be dictating for the sitting Gubara but the later will vehemently resist such. Wike will then instigate the House of Assemble against Fubara which will turn Rivers to a battle ground. If Fubara escape the landmine of the house, then Wike will lay ambush against him during Gubara’s quest for second term. The Ambode treatment may be launched against him. |
The money the ex-presidents make from donors and consultancy to continental and international organization is more than enough to keep them rich continually in retirement. |
Obi, in his heart of hearts believes that he didn’t win the election, but using the tribunal and assurance to oil the ring of his supporters so that those supporters will not see him as weak and fizzle out. Obi knows he’s being academic and political with all these propagandas. I hereby urge knowledgeable obidients not to take the claim that Obi won the elections to heart. |
