The Edo State Government construct Ekosodin Road and five Joining Street in ovia north East Local Government Area Edo State. Resident of the community thanks the State Goverment for the construction of the road in which they have being suffered the bad portion of the road form many years. The road is taking shape and the resident we're happy of the road and pledges their support form Governor obaseki Administration. Watch video here .
One of the residents, Michael Taylor, said, “We are excited to have benefited from the wake and see governor’s infrastructural project. This project will end the long years of hardship we endured over neglect of the road.”
Another resident, Oviasuyi Gabriel, said, “We appreciate the governor for this laudable project. This is the first time we have seen a project from the start to this level. The road project had been abandoned three to four times in the past.
Oziegbe Paul said the project will end the long period of hardship residents faced while accessing the area, adding, “Before this time, it was difficult for residents to move easily from Ugbowo down to University of Benin gate through Ekosodin. The progress of work done by the contractors shows that the governor is ready to have the project completed.”
The road project in Ekosodin is designed to also bring relief to students and staff of the University of Benin who reside in the area.
mightyhazell: That road has been perennially bad... during my years in uniben in the early 2000s,hopping a bike on that ekosodin road to and from precious palm Royal hotel was always a nightmare for me and any lucky girl it was who was going to relax with me there.. sometimes after considering the torturous bumpy ride just to go swim,play billards n tennis and other fun activities,we just call it off and instead buy some drinks,indomie and eggs and then shoot forth the bolt on the bedroom door...
