When Life Seems To Put Out Every Light You Have, It Is Better to Light A Candle Than To Complain About The Darkness. The World we have created is a Product of our Thinking! It CANNOT be changed without CHANGED THINKING! There is the story of a wealthy man who had an only child. He loved his son so much that he could do anything for him. However, he realized that the greatest legacy that he can leave behind for his son was not just the physical, but also the spiritual. He therefore spent most of his time training, teaching and instructing his son in the path of life. He imparted wisdom into the young man’s life using different strategies to fulfill this purpose. Due to his status, he had many servants that had been with him for years and had been faithfully serving him. After some time, this man passed away leaving a Will explaining how his properties should be distributed. Everyone gathered together for the reading of the Will as the envelope was opened. The Will read thus: “To my son, my only son, whom I love, I give the singular opportunity to choose only one out of all that I own; and to my servants, my ever faithful servants, I give the opportunity to have all the other things I have left.” Everywhere was filled with silence after the reading of the will, followed by whispers of shock from the audience. How can he do this? They wondered. “Are the servants more important than the son? Which one thing will he choose etc.” The son was asked to take time to think of what he will choose so as not to make any hasty decision. He looked at them and replied thus: “I don’t need time to think because I already know what to choose. You may all wonder at the rationale behind the will of my father, but I’m not surprised. He has taught me enough, for me to know what to do in situations like this; and if I make a mistake, it will not be his fault, but mine. This is my choice: Since the servants are also part of my father’s belonging, I choose the servants.” **************** When they heard his choice, they were amazed at his wisdom, and wondered why they never thought of that – since choosing the servant, equals having everything. Their inability to think that way reveals the focus of this article that is “Common sense is not common.” The PLUS (+) symbol is made with 2 MINUS (-) symbols!... So all NEGATIVE things can be shaped as POSITIVES by our SMART work & POSITIVE thinking! May this New Year all your dreams turn into reality and all your efforts into great achievements. |
Change is what we want.Let him get there first. |

In desperate bid to return President Jonathan back to power come May 29, 2015, a powerful delegation from the presidency on Wednesday met with officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja. The meeting which took at the commissions at about 12pm today discussed how photochromic ballot papers would be used 10 densely populated Northern state during the forth-coming Presidential election to boast the chances of the President Jonathan Our source said the meeting had in attendance some prominent leaders of the north including, Governors Sule Lamido of Jigawa state, Godswill Akpabio of Akwa- Ibom State Four National Directors of INEC, Minister of Police Affairs, Jelil Adesiyan and one other minister (withheld). The source added that the meeting cited the large turnout of votes expected from the 10 northern states which unfortunately is the stronghold of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), as the basis for considering the option of using photochromic ballot papers. The discussion did not consider using same in any of the Southern region. While the South South and South East region are considered a stronghold of President Jonathan which will turn out large votes for the president, the south West is said to be a no go area as it is believed the south western states have already had a bitter-bite of the tricks, and that may make it impossible for the use of the scientific ballot papers. It was not established as at press time if the idea was admitted, accepted and welcomed in good faith but, the delegation is expected to feed Vice President, Arch Namadi Sambo tonight on the strategies discussed. It would be recalled that the All Progressives Congress (APC), had in the wake of the defeat in the Ekti State governorship election, alleged that photochromic papers were used in rigging the election in favour of Governor Ayo Fayose of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). This development prompted the governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola to demonstrate how the photochromic ballot papers can be disabled during his last campaign for the Osun State governorship election in August.
