Hello everyone, I'm new here. I plan on applying to a PhD in Canada, then leaving the PhD to study a diploma in healthcare. Does anyone have any idea if that is possible. Can I drop the PhD and go for the healthcare. I plan on getting admission for both before applying for visa.

The original asker said he or she did not see any lodgement narrative in the copy of the statement so its a dicey situation and that was why i refered him/her to the bank. Its a simple logic and if you feel that the op can use it then you have to answer him/her directly. A teacher does not correct another teacher openly (form of disrespect) except if such teacher is teaching in an obviously a wrong way.

Are you familiar with grey.co (registered in Canada with a Canadian Money Services Business license), popular with Nigerian remote workers to receive salary. I have USD stored there. After I pay my tuition in full and I do a GIC for the max amount, will a Grey.co stamped statement with an official supporting letter addressed to IRCC confirming my account status, balances, and Grey's regulatory standing work? Including my Nigerian bank accounts statements?

My student @Abel Abdul are you in the class ? Study visa is what you get from Nigeria in order to travel and land in Canada. Then after the POE clears you they will issue you study permit. In order word both phrases are interchangeable.

When I applied in May, I saw where IRCC stated that all documents must be carefully gone through before submission. That documents sent as a webform when they were not requested shall be ignored.

Good morning all,

I am paying my tuition today using Flywire against the September intake. I also intend to apply for my visa on firday.

My worry is if I can use the flywire reciept as proof of tuition payment and if IRCC accepts it as valid proof.

This is becasue my school said it may take as much as 7 working days to confirm payment and issue a school reviept and I can't afford to wait.

When you study history in B.A and Msc and you want to go for phd in Biology because its PR selective do you think you can get the visa ? This is one of the reasons your visa is being denied. Every student visa applicant's focus should be how to secure the visa in the first place and i gave my opinion based on her and the husband profiles.

Please I am in a Dilemma.
My husband is 40+, studied mechanical Engineering, has PGD also, COREN too and works in Facility management. A relatively good job paying in 6 figures.

I am 30+, studied Biochemistry, have an MSC too. I am a senior Govt worker. My income is okay and I have a little business bringing in some income too.
We have children with the youngest being a year plus.
We want to try this study visa, who should go and have better opportunities in CA for relocation/PR.

You just spoke my mind, in 2021 I was sleeping on this platform during my application, this place was like a safe haven to so many of us, we post our PPR stories and how we got it done. It’s so sad how this platform was reduced to nothing but a battle field and also a place where scammers get their clients. Yes, they should ban anything related to PR. There is an express entry thread where those people interested in PR can get their questions answered.

The reason why questions on PR comes here is that people have dual intent when they come to Canada and lots of people have benefited from it including myself. It used to be a guaranteed part way just that sadly things have changed recently. Enroll in school, complete your program, get one year Canadian job experience in your field, apply for PR and you are guaranteed to get it.

I have no moral right to discourage anyone from coming to Canada to study when I have benefited from it.

My little advice is that before spending a significant amount on studies, you should carefully assess the return on investment and also explore possible PR pathways you may already qualify for. Studying in Canada does not guarantee permanent residence. Immigration rules are changing, PR is becoming more competitive, and many international graduates are struggling to secure jobs and qualify for PR after graduation.

Make sure you are pursuing the program for its educational and career value, not with the expectation that a study permit will automatically lead to PR.

For example, my cousin abandoned the study route early last year and focused on learning French instead. After about 10 months of dedicated study, he passed the TEF and received a French-language Express Entry ITA this year. Everyone's situation is different, but it is worth exploring all available immigration options before committing to an expensive study program that may not ultimately lead to PR.

Hi, sorry I'm writing late, been working on a lot of things lately. I am about to submit my application, the country's residence permit I have is Poland, I'm applying from Poland. My question is, the tax return documents are in Polish language, do you think I should submit it like that or seel the service of a certified translator to translate them? I checked with a certified translator and the quotation they gave me is a lot, probably because the 3 years tax return comes with a lot of documents, I'm not sure if the visa officer will look at them if I submit the one with only Polish language, every other financial documents are in English/includes English translation, but only the tax return documents are in Polish language only, no English translation.

What do you think please?
