Lagos has been standing gidigba for centuries.. It didn't get to where it is now by chance. The people of Lagos worked hard for it. They came from different parts of Yorubaland and made Lagos theirs long before indigenes of other parts of the place which is called Nigeria today started migrating there.

The only problem I know will affect Lagos if not checked is the mad influx of all sorts. Lagos is bursting at the helms. People should try as much as possible to stay in their ethnic regions at least.

Lagos, like Nigeria is passing through a phase. Recent government policies to wean Nigeria off its mainly socialist system have had serious effects on our economy but these policies are necessary if we don't want a total collapse of the economy akin to what happened in Argentina, Lebanon and Venezuela.
