plaindealer: There's a difference between African presidents and African agencies like the AFDB.
Please, don't pollute the discussion with lame comments. You get brain at all? is AU not an organization? Does the invitation have anything to do with AU? AU is an organization, EU is also an organization so as the world Bank and African Development Bank... EU and others were invited as an organization so if they needed AU, they will invite them as an organization |

plaindealer: No, I asked you to show us the African countries with yearly permanent invitations to the G7. No one mentioned there was any permanent African countries. You mentioned rotation so you should defend your rotation and the criteria for rotation. Because if it's by rotation, Rwanda should not go there after 2018 until all other African countries have appeared. You should tell me when Togo. Somalia, Libya and Mauritius was invited due to rotation. You should also tell me why Nigeria have not been invited 2 times consecutively just as Kagame had been and South Africa had been invited. Why has SA been invited more than any African countries, even the Giant as we always claim |

plaindealer: You are entitled to your own opinion, even to your own manufactured opinion, but facts remain that they rotate invitations regardless of what's going on in any country.
Rotation is the Keyword. You have to provide a source to where the G7 nations mentioned that they rotate invitation of African countries. And you must be able to tell why they didnt invite any other countries apart from Africans in 2017 when the agenda of the event was Migration |

Buckubuck: You're a waste of space. You and ur lord can show us the rotation list. You're the G7 secretary who just announced the rotation now. Mumu Dont mind dumb people who cannot point to where they read about rotation of AU affiliation with the invitation. They can invite AU as an organization just as they invite EU and the African development Bank. |

plaindealer: Kagame won't be invited next year, so, are you ready to repeat the same rubbish that he wasn't invited because of the lack of economic growth and no longer in the limelight?
You can not substitute common sense with hatred and bitterness. Ofcourse he will not if the agenda of the summit does not involve the discourse in Rwanda. However, Countries are invited with respect to the Agenda of the summit. That's the reason why only African countries were invited in 2017. Take note of this also, it's not all Crictics of Buhari that are Ipob. Every sane Nigerian knows that Buhari is lifeless and cannot hold an intelligent conversation. Even if he was invited, Osinbajo would have represented him. |

plaindealer: You mean they did not invite Kagame in 2015 because they thought he was useless and had nothing to offer?
Ipobs and common sense are enemies. Because his Country is still emerging to be better than yours... Now its 2018 and 19. The country is on the limelight for Economic growth but ours is on the international space for Kidnapping and Herdmen invasion |

festacman: You are not getting me. There is nothing bad about criticisms or protest because they are integral part of democracy but saying that not being invited to a meeting devalues the worth of a leader is too pedestrian. That's my take and I did not take that stand carelessly. It is based on my ideology. You are saying the truth but, many leaders are avoiding a discourse with Buhari because if asked questions, he doesn't understand the question not to talk of giving a suiting response. I've watched many of his international discourse and I've seen the reaction of his host. |

Iamgrey5: South Africa has not be invited more than any African country.
There was a time Benin, Chad and Guniea were invited back to back. It means nothing.
The most important thing is that South Africa and Nigeria have been invited twice in the last Five years.
And who told you South Africa has equitable economic growth. South Africa has one of the most uneven society in the world. And gender equality is not better than Nigeria.
Although, Nigeria might have invited if issues of Global security and food security is being discussed. Climate Change is what concerns SA. Gender equality was what concerned Rwanda and that's what they discussed. Can you tell me what Osinbajo discussed in 2017? |

festacman: My contention is not with Western leaders but with fellow Africans who judge their leaders with minds characterized by slave mentality. Yes, African leaders are performing poorly, so are also some European and South American countries. Running your leaders down and lifting leaders of others up leaves bitter taste in the mouth. Just as we are castigating our leaders, they do it in European and South American counties too. Infact, ours is just by mouth. Others do by action. Porto Ricans boot out their President, French protestested against Macron, Mexicans castigated their President for cancelling the scheduled meeting with Trump... If we continue this your way, Nigeria will never get better. |

Iamgrey5: Understand what bro
There are more than at least 15 African countries that will feal they deserve the invitation that were not invited.
Algeria and Ghana will likely be fuming because they have been invited for a while.
We have had our fair share of invitations South Africa has been invited more than any African County. Rwanda Is getting into limelight and will be featured more than Nigeria if we continue to move this way... this is actually pointing to the fact that they invite based on the agenda of the event and not by rotation. For Example, the Agendas of 2018 does not concern Nigeria because we are still behind that discussion. The agendas are equitable Economic growth, Gender equality and Climate Change. The discussion as it stands right now does not involve Nigeria. |

festacman: Mutual acknowledgement of each other by leaders is no problem but a leader being validated on account of his shaking another leader's hand or joining another leader in a meeting is a problem. A problem of inferiority complex. It's a Validation of mutual acknowledgement. Who would want to discuss with someone that doesn't even understand what you are saying. Have you seen the video of Trump's and Buhari's Discussions? |

Agreed we were fooled in 2015, but for some of us to allow them to fool us again in 2019 defies logic! Even Abacha had supporters how much more of Buhari in 2019. Just like every other Nigeria president had always rigged themselves into power in their second term... president lifeless Muhammadu Buhari Did too. Dont blame the people, they are not educated enough to defend themselves. The few once that are educated does not want to contribute to the electioneering process. |

Was Thabo even allowed to vote when the previous organisation was formed .? I'm trying to draw you back to AU so that you dont go into another organization. Its AU you talked about and not the group before it. Buhari had no position in the AU when he attended the Summit so as Jonathan. if it is by rotation, we should not attend that summit again until every other African Countries have appeared. |

festacman: It is pure display of inferiority complex, slave mentality, colonial submission and tragic foolery to validate an African leader based on invitation to a meeting. Feeling shamelessly excited because your President shook or hugged another human being who happened to be elected the president of another country is just going too low. As Africans, we sure have our demons like the other races do but we are definitely NOT inferior though we are different.
By the way, the REALITY of G-7 meeting is that the invitations extended to select African leaders are mere TOKENISM done to fulfil global political correctness. Otherwise, why is that these OUTSIDERS are only allowed to attend brief inconsequential interactions and then HERDED OUT for a PR world media photoshoots? The truth is no 'free lunch' will come from these superpowers without gaining much more in return.
So, Reno please enough of this unnecessary noise. Hi, it isn't a display of inferiority complex. G6 was formed in 1975 when Nigeria and Africa doesn't understand what a country means. These countries are not 60years countries so regarding them is not in anyway an inferiority complex. African leaders who attended this summit were given the opportunity to discuss with the world. Ramaphosa discussed climate change in 2018. So bro whenever we are acknowledging world leaders, it's never an inferiority complex. China had once acknowledged the USA that's why they sent thousands of their citizens to go study in the USA. Now China is doing better and sometimes would want to compare herself to the USA. |
