Well, I'll like to hear OP's answer to this if he knows one or two things about the rules these beings follow.

Here's my own theory:

Our assumptions here are:
1. Different alien species exist and interact with each other
2. These species co-exist on earth (i.e., mostly exploiting us)

If they do exist (as in our assumption), then it's very likely that they monitor each other just so a single species does not monopolise earth's resources (which includes humans)

It's kind of the same reason why Russia, in all her power, will not just come and forcefully take Nigeria's resources without a bargain. They fear the U.S (which also has a lot to gain from us) will deal with them. A literal war in the heavens.

And what if the US want to form rogue? Well, they'll also remember that Russia can drop atomic bombs on them if they go overboard. Something like a United Nations for Aliens that set the rules so every one can enjoy/exploit humans in peace.

Example of a rule for them can be:
"Thou shall only take what you can legitimately convince the humans to give." Hence the speculated approach of "Hey human, look at our tiny little flying saucer! We can give you the blueprints if you give us 3000 human heads." LOL

You have to understand that Newton gravity and Einstein gravity are not different things.

Rather they are two theories that explain gravity in different situations.

It does not negate gravity or proof that gravity does not exist.

If applied on earth or on two massive bodies, Newton theory of gravity perfectly describes the magnitude of the force of attraction between these bodies.

Because of this accuracy, Newtons theory is still being used today for launching rockets and just about any projectile on earth.

But if the body involves a larger one and a smaller one especially like the sun and mercury, the theory breaks down.

In this case Einstein theory of space and time curvature will perfectly the force of gravity in that gravity is not really a curve but a deep hole that a massive object creates around itself like it is sinking.

It is that curvature that draws objects close to it.

This theory will fail on earth and close to black holes.

So you see, both theories do not do away with gravity. Instead, they tried to explain gravity in different ways and they are both right in different conditions.

Physics is based on conditions. Most of our physics are limited by the speed of light. Provided that objects travel at a speed lesser than the speed of light, almost all physic theories will be accurate.

But once they move closer to the speed of light, the accuracy decreases and beyond the speed of light, everything scatters.

Fortunately for us, no object as of yet can travel at light speed because E=mc2 means it'll need an infinite amount of energy which is impossible.

What I'm saying is that there are boundaries to every physic laws. It does not mean that the laws are wrong.

They will be perfect within the boundaries.

So, no one has said gravity does not exist. Einstein explained gravity between a super massive object and a lesser massive object and his theory there is right.

Newton explained gravity around two massive objects and his theories are also accurate.

But both theories of gravity are wrong when it comes to explaining the excessive gravity around black holes... That boundary again.

If everything we know in space are spherical, doesn't that mean everything that live on them should be similar?

But we say they mustn't look like us

Secondly, the spherical shape of the planets is not responsible for life. If it is, the universe will be full of life.

But as we all know life is scarce in the universe. So the shape of planets is not really a factor.

In the first search for extra terrestrial life, humans were only interested in searching for life in the goldilocks zones.

These are planets which are roughly in the same position from their sun as the earth. Scientists then believe that since the earth is teeming with life, then the region it occupied in space is probably the sweet spot for life in the universe.

One thing will be certain, life found in any planet within the goldilocks will almost have the same characteristics.

But What if we venture out from that zone? What if we move further from earth down to a cold planet like pluto?

Would you expect to see life with the same the same characteristics as those on earth?

Or we move to a boiling planet like mercury or venus, would you expect the same things?

Life adapt to their environments within their planets, not to the size or shape of the planet.

Except all the aliens you supposed have visited the earth are from the goldilocks zone, they should not bear any similarities to humans.

Talk more of being able to survive our atmosphere.

Do you that as close as Mars is to us, you can't survive on Mars?

Now think about aliens from outer space, think of what they live on if they even eat any of the elements found on our planets
