ForevaTT: As per cheaper airline, Depends on when you're leaving. Never tried any of those airlines.
If you're hoping for a date earlier than Jan 10, then all airlines (wack or great) are overpriced unfortunately.
I booked a January 10 (direct Qatar flight) for 347k two weeks ago, same flight is currently going for 390k...it keeps increasing as demand for the date goes up.
If you want a cheaper and reasonable airline, you might want to move your travel date a bit further down....Jan 11 etc I am booking Egyptair for January 14. Total is N296,000. That’s the cheapest I could find and went for it. Me I no get plenty money |

Kema22: Hello... Please how long does it take to get my stamped passport from Vfs? I sent to the lagos office When I did mine about 4 weeks ago, it took 11 working days. Btw, hope you paid DHL for the return of the passport. If you didn’t, VFS would give you a call on how to get the passport back. |

Look, enjoy yourself in Canada and don't let me give you the response you deserve.
Hope you realize it's lack of manners that's making you ask someone who you don't know if they are okay?
Whatever opinion I give about you here has nothing to do with what God is set to do for me so don't give me this lame Nigerian mentality Prayer. Iranu! Take it easy guy. This is a free forum and no one is forced to drop any timeline. You are not the owner of Nairaland and stop behaving like this is your house. Which one is “response he deserves”. Hi great gurus in the house. My passport has now been returned to me stamped. Counterfoil received. LOI received. All without a medical request. My profile says I don’t need a medical.
What do you suggest that I do? Program duration is 1 year. I intend to travel in December/January. Program starts in February. |

Bukoj: Please I want to understand how this works. I did Biometrics in Lagos but I'm sending to Abuja. Do I need to pay DHL a return fee to get my passport back? Please someone should help. I'm begging. Thank you. Yes, you need to pay DHL return fee. They would bring it straight to your home once it has been stamped. They are not allowing people to collect the passport at their office due to COVID. |

What statistics did you use to arrive at “1yr hardly getting approval”. Honestlyi don’t know why people like you just like putting fear into peoples minds. What do you gain from it? There is absolutely no impact choosing a 1 year course has on your chances is getting approval. Mind you, I also got approval with a 1 year. Leave your strange opinion in your mind. |

Plannie22: Good morning everyone,
I would be grateful if anyone could assist with my query - I applied for a study permit in the middle of May but my application was made using the regular process and not the Nigerian Student Express. My account statement was submitted at the time of my application but I want to confirm if IRCC would at any stage still request for another bank account statement from me.
I want to withdraw my money from my account and purchase dollars to protect it against devaluation. I require this confirmation because I don't want a situation where IRCC will request my bank statement again and I will not have money in it anymore.
I look forward to receiving a response. Do you mean you want to convert it to actual USD physical cash or move the funds into a USD domiciliary account? If you want to hedge against devaluation, I'll advise you convert it to USD by moving it into a domiciliary account in your name. So if they request for an updated bank statement, you can show them the domiciliary account bank statement. I opened one with UBA in my name and it was not difficult at all. IRCC occasionally ask for updated bank statements to I don't advise you to spend the money at all. Hope this helps. |

GodsOwn2004: Your vaccination status ought to have been fully updated by now considering the fact that you had your 2nd jab in June. I will suggest you call customer service lines on the NPHCDA website. There’s a number in my vaccine card so I called and the person asked me to snap the card and send to him on WhatsApp which I have done. NPHCDA Customer service line is not going as expected. |

GodsOwn2004: I took 1st jab of Astrazeneca in July, I had high temperature, slight headache and body ache for 3days after taking the 1st jab,,I just had my 2nd jab of same vaccine 2days ago....I am still observing myself.
Please check that your vaccination status is duly uploaded by your vaccination centre, on the NPHCDA before embarking on your journey. You can do so by scanning the bar code sticker on the vaccination card.
You can download barcode scanner on your phone, from Android or Apple playstore Hi, I’ve taken the two doses of Astrazeneca. First dose was in April, and second was in June. However, when scanning the bar code it says Partial vaccination. What do you suggest I do although I don’t travel until around December. |

One of the persons i assisted on his application got approved without a medical request.
I am still stunned. Anything is just possible in this canada parole.
Might be an oversight though..
I still need that link for MPs in canada.. Thanks in anticipation. Please what does this imply as I had a similar outcome. Does that mean I don’t need to do Medicals? |

Hi guys, I've been visiting this page periodically but never really commented because I didn't really know a lot about the process. I must say I really appreciate everyone who contributes to this great forum.
I am a first time applicant. After almost 8 months, I finally got an original passport request today. I submitted my application in January. Got a request for NSE but didn't do NSE cause I had no plan to do IELTS. I didn't send any reason to them though. My MBA program did not require an English test too.
Would be sending my passport to Abuja this week. Is there anything I should be getting ready for now e.g. Medicals. See what my application looks like now.
I wish everyone who is expecting a response a favorable outcome.
