Politics / See How Peter Obi Was Able To Cut The Cost Of Governance In Anambra by Presido95: 7:21pm On Mar 08
In a recent discussion on Channels TV, Professor Okey Ikechukwu, a distinguished authority in strategic management and human capital development, shed light on how former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, effectively addressed corruption during his tenure. The professor’s insights aimed to challenge the prevalent notion that individuals with good intentions cannot prosper in a corrupt environment.

He said Okey, see how much I have saved today. When He gets a file He will check the unit cost and check the total.
If the unit cost is too high, He would personally contact individuals in the market to verify the accurate unit cost.

Regardless of the propaganda, REALITY is the human development index of Anambra under Obi was massive growth, leaving a debt free State,a State which was ranked safest State by IGP BABA and a State in top 3 position of the most Educated States ranking in Nigeria.

Like him, hate him,not an angel but give Him a job and He will do it.

1$ is like 1350 won in korea and they have one of the best stable economy in asia.

I think naira devaluation can benefit Nigeria greatly if we play it well but we just don't have many establishment that can earn us a lot of forex. Dangote refinery is going to take at least 6 months to fully come on board and see its benefit

How can one be this insincere. Is this the same sentiment you had when Jonathan was in power?

The main issue here is Tinubu is killing the naira. He’s almost doubled the rate in less than 8 months. Korean won was over 1,000/$ when APC came in 2015 but they’ve been able to keep it stable over the years to 1,337/$ today. In fact it’s been between 1k and 1300 for over 20 years

Exactly what I thought you'd say.
For those not filled with hate tribalistic bigotry n foolishness here is Tinubu in a presidential debate
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBS_TfK9JQY?feature=shared

The debate above from 1999 till date remain the most civil conscise debate ever held among presidential candidates in the history of Nigeria today. There are at least 3 more he participate yet some hate filled bigoted tribalistic clown supporting a Pandora cursed criminal be claiming he never participated in any debate. I wonder if fools are allowed to dictate debate presidential candidate now attend in Nigeria.

One of the debate this clown would want Tinubu a clear favourite to attend was one anchored by Abati a diehard PDP politician, the all room was so rowdy even Abati was caught hurling insults n curses to his fellow PDP supporters with some obidient morons.

If you care to see debate of Peter Obi n Atiku just Google NESG Peter Obi n for Atiku NESG Atiku n compare.

If brain is not paining you or your thinking faculty as not collapsed die to irredeemable bigotry n chronic hate tell who performed the best among the trio.

But seriously though, you are a disgrace to mankind if this is what you call a presidential debate. Are you people smoking shit all day or what. Firstly this was not even a live program. They waited several days to edit it. Secondly, if didn’t debate any presidential candidate. You are such a big slowpoke. I don’t blame you, it’s your paymasters that pay per post regardless of how foolish your post is that I blame. Arindin, ode.

robosky02:

If you ask me
I will say no Nigerian number 10 has lived up to his potential

1. Erin Esin was a star that never shines because of youthful exuberance and women.

Even the late Stephen Keshi, also had this to say about him: “We had Etim Esin and relied so much on him. The team was built around him because he had so much skill and had so much to offer. So we said this is our “Diego Maradona” in Nigeria because he can do anything with the ball. It was like he was born with the ball.”

A player that was first and only to be compared to Maradona in Africa.
Even Ghanaian Abedi Pele was scared of him

But he never made it

2. Okocha too played so much to the gallery and never took the world by storm as he should and so was Never recognize as he should.
Ask Ronaldinho ., he feels Okocha problem was going to play in small clubs when the world was waiting.
Till date Ronaldinho a Balondor winners still adores Okocha, who did not even win one CAF best

3. Mikel Obi was another that was supposed to take the world by storm

When he started he was at same level with Messi sharing the podium.
Man United and Chelsea were fighting for his signature.
At the U20 he shines like a million Stars

But one career move turned him to just making back pass throughout his playing days. Hmmm

The world should have seen a trilogy of Messi Ronaldo and Mikel

So what about all the numerous age grade players that won golden ball but never made it big professionally. You think because Mikel played with Messi he should be on the same level or close to Messi.

Is Obi the current president of Nigeria ?

Why are you attacking this man. What your reason to be hate filled to a man so many reasonable Nigerians like myself believe to be the solution of the current predicament caused by APC ?

Did he snatch your wife ?

Can someone explain this madness for me?

Haha, na why we dey call am madness. Nobody fit explain am. On a serious note though, I feel APC know they don’t have anything to show after 8 years but suffering and destruction. So they are just trying to divide the people s much as possible through tribe, religion, party affiliation, etc. Those minions trying to spread hate against Obi are APC pain agents. APC see Obi as their major threat to remaining in power therefore they have to attack him.

Politics / Re: Even If Tinubu Was A 'Drug Lord', So What? by Presido95: 6:30am On Nov 08, 2023
We all knew it would get to this point that’s why we fought vehemently against this drug dealer. Soon these people would start giving excuses for murderers. “Afterall, the murder was in the past, let him rule”. The Tinubu himself has not even come out publicly to explain his role in the drug cartel. He might have even killed people, but this werey thinks it doesn’t matter all because he founded Lagos. Same Lagos that had been Nigeria’s capital for half a century before Tinubu started drug business. Same Lagos that was a former British territory. Same Lagos that was competing with the likes of Cairo and Johannesburg but can no longer compete with even Nairobi or Accra. They’ve destroyed Lagos to the point that it is now being compared to Onitsha and Aba. It is now rated 2nd to last liveable city among major cities in the world. Same lagos that has little to no working public infrastructure. Soon maybe after they’ve turned Abuja upside down too they would claim that Tinubu or Wike developed it. They would start comparing Abuja with Lokoja. And mind you, among the 4 governors of lagos since 1999, Tinubu performed the worst but yet is claiming the glory of the others.

And why are these agbado minions quick to compare Nigeria to the bad things in USA. But when it’s time to compare the good things like standard of living or minimum wage, they would run away? Why can’t you compare Nigerians minimum wage to US? Why can’t you compare the systems and checks and balances against corruption in the US to Nigeria. You’re comparing Trump to Tinubu, first of all, Trump did not destroy people’s lives through drugs. Also, you act as if you don’t know that through the checks and balances in the US, Trump cannot exhibit a certain level of corruption that a corrupt Nigerian president would exhibit. Small thing, they’ve impeached you in the US. How many times was Trump impeached again? Tinubu can take 10% of a states resources and nothing happens; try that in the US. There is a reason Nigeria’s constitution does not permit criminals in power. That’s because of the abuse of power that would happen. In the US, that is not the case. In the US, you can be in prison and still contest for president . You know why?, because they know that even if you are elected, their checks and balances would ensure that no matter how corrupt you are, you are checkmated. But in Nigeria, anything goes, that’s why your President who has no known major business or source of income can claim to be richer than an entire state and nobody cares.

The fact an educated person could even think of this dumbass post tells you how low Nigeria has sunk as a nation, all thanks to Agbado ethnic politics with nothing to offer. You call Tinubu an economic genius. After 6 months, I dare you to name one single economic achievement that is benefiting the people. Make una continue destroying the system and allowing criminals have their way. I Kuku know all of you have criminal nature so that’s why you are doing this. Last last, una go dey alright for that country. Awon omo drug baron oshi. Awon onijekuje.

Choose a country that isn't currently listed in the travel restriction, preferably one that has a vaccination plan in place and is actively addressing the COVID-19 problem in their country. I say the later because other countries could still be added to the ban list, and you don't want to be in a situation where you book flights, incur fees, and then discover that the third country has been prohibited at the last minute.
In my case, I'll be flying via a Schengen state in two weeks (God's grace).

Other routes being explored, including Ghana, Mexico, and maybe Coutonu. According to what I've read on this platform, you might be able to pass through Mexico using the Canadian Visa granted to students (please verify this). Spend at least 14 days in the third Country , being sure to follow all of their safety requirements before moving on to Canada. At least 72 hours before flying to Canada, another depature Covid test will be required.

It's a costly method, but it may be the only viable one right now.

My advice to anyone who can afford to wait till January is to wait. I feel the ban would soon be lifted. UK just removed all countries from the red list. Canada has no justification to still restrict travellers while allowing flights from UK when in fact the UK says about 200k omicron cases already. Coupled with the fact that Omicron is a mild variant. Let’s just wait and see till January

False; Nigeria runs laps around Benin Republic. Nigeria has better light, water, and roads. Nigeria has a far superior hdi rating, economy, and gdp PER CAPITA.

Nigeria is Middle Income developing Nation.

Benin is a low income least developed nation.

Federal Republic of Nigeria > Benin Republic(French puppet state).

See this one spitting lies with confidence. Both Benin and Nigeria are lower-middle-income countries. You should have at least done a little research.

My advise to people about to book flights especially those going with Children is to avoid Ethiopian for now. For those that have already booked, I don’t think you need to worry so much cos its really unlikely that you would encounter any issue.

Hi all,

Anyone coming to Montreal early December or end of November and in need of student accommodation? I may have a 3-months lease to transfer in a 4-star hotel. Rent is $900 for a fully furnished apartment (room and parlor with kitchenette, bathroom and toilet) with all utilities (internet, electricity, water, heat) plus furniture and electronics. It has an extra retractable bed for occasional guest in the living room. Cooking utensils, bed-sheets and even towels are all included in the rent. Am not adding a penny to the rent just looking transfer to someone who has such budget and they may benefit the relatively lower rate.

Current daily room rate in the hotel is about $100 so you are getting a great deal which I got when I signed a year long lease during the pandemic. I am moving to a bigger apartment by month end because family is joining me. Landlord is ready to end the lease but I want to explore this option too so someone may benefit that rate as the rental/tenant law allows me to transfer a lease without issues and landlord cannot refuse without a cogent reason.

City center location that is ideal for anyone going to UQAM, Concordia, or McGill - all are within walking distances. Montreal's most central metro station (Berri-UQAM) with connections to all 4 metro lines is 2 minutes walk away.

Only serious inquiries please. If you are interested, reply to my post here to signify and then send me a PM so I can accept and start discussion.

Thanks.

This sounds like a great deal. Wish I could get something similar in London, Ontario as that’s where I’m headed.

Please contact me if ur using Ethiopian airline or if u have any good news to share about them from recent experience thanks.
