please no amt of money can bring a loved one back . lost my aunt and i know no compensation can heal the family she left behind. even if they compensate them, how much can they possibly give that will surmount to what those that died would av benefited their families in the future.

In like vein , i understand the points people r tryn to prove that at least they'll give them something unlike in previous disasters. but we all know nija now, the bureaucratic process will totally destroy the whole objective and leaves beneficiaries stranded.

Although heard money has been sent out to legit next of kin so at least thats a good start. But why does ngr av to wait for a calamity of such magnitude to occur. Come to think of it, if the money been given out had been used to sort out the aircrafts , wont it have made a diff?

Of course u've got to av collateral to loan money from the bank. not only, u'll need a couple of upstanding persons to guarantee the laon. but first can i ask what u do? cos thats very necessary and a first step in approaching a bank for loan assistance?

abeg whats all the noise for? whats new in nigeria. infact the guy even respected them sef, even going to court. I thought he would have been in the country since. pls lets talk about other things. He is just one of the many public officers caught, how many perpetrate such crimes and never get caught? Even when they do get caught nothin ever happens. Its really sad. i wish all we say here will actually change the attrocities public officers commit.

....(thinking) I wish "he" were here. I could tell him anything, and i mean anything. We'd spend hours just talking about our lives and what the future held. Friends and family thought otherwise but we both knew better. He was just my friend, a good one at that. U know , at times i considered him more of a brother than a friend.

Over the years, he'd watched out for me constantly and even going as far as taking the bait for my sorry ass when i got into deep s**t at school which nearly got me expelled. Despite the fact that we both were involved, at one time or the other, that didn't stop our friendship. At times i think it strenghtened our friendship cos whenever either of us had a problem in our relationships, we took solace in ourselves.

....Alas that was to end.......
