Long distance relationship takes alot of commitment and trust and i always commend those that are bold enough to go into one. No one has the right to judge you except you.

Disturbing, Why I don't think so. The only bewildering aspect is that the kid instigated it. In such scenarios, the parents force their kids into sexual acts and not the other way round.

That serves Jose right. It might take a while but don't worry you'll move on.It's also nice u can confide in your mum at least i'm sure she'll understand and that'll keep you on track. As per the new guy, well what can i say, I'm no pro in relationship issues but one thing i know is that trust is essential for the growth of any relationship. If you feel he doesn't trust you because of issues in the past, my advise is sit him down and iron things out so you both can move on and have a healthy relationship.
