Long distance relationship takes alot of commitment and trust and i always commend those that are bold enough to go into one. No one has the right to judge you except you.

Good for you girl. Nice that u've got your self out of that jam. It might take a while but don't worry you'll move on.It's also nice u can confide in your mum at least i'm sure she'll understand and that'll keep you on track. As per the new guy, well what can i say, I'm no pro in relationship issues but one thing i know is that trust is essential for the growth of any relationship. If you feel he doesn't trust you because of issues in the past, my advise is sit him down and iron things out so you both can move on and have a healthy relationship.
