SportsRe: Do You Think Man United Will Be Back Next Season With A Better Team by prettyH(f): 8:10pm On Jan 14, 2006
U guys that team needs serious prayers o. As for next season if they get good players with no co-ordination, then no hope for us. Solkjear's been out for such a long time and he is my favourite. The team for next season is dependent on factors such as choice of players to buy and the amout of funds available to spend in the transfer market.

Poverty least? What would then be paramount? A sudden interest in the events?
What i meant was if these stupid man made hazards also known as power tussles continue, fear may be more of a serious problem than poverty because even the poor fear for their lives. More so, poverty is a normal phenomenon in Nigeria anyway.

@Akolawole,
From time immemorial, u have supported Adedibu constantly defending his actions in that state. I do not care who is right or wrong. Do not forget, this is Nigeria. This same politics led to the demise of Bole Ige, so let no one think they can escape it ...especially Adedibu.

Hi guys. please where is Seun because i am tired of talking with no response. Will anything ever be done or will we continue to request for a forum for the older minds.
PoliticsRe: Oyo State Governor Ladoja Impeached At Last by prettyH(f): 5:46pm On Jan 14, 2006
otokx:
@Farriel; your very right, infact the civil servants in ibadan have been on endless public holidays since the two elephants started their hide and seek game.
Of course what does one expect in such a scenario.

Farriel:
These issues of impeachments and other similar matters in Nigeria make no particular resonance on me. They can impeache to the end of the world and back again but it still would make no positive and significant impact on the people, so I care even less.

The grinding jaws of poverty in this country makes people indifferent to the political maneuverings around. They've evidently got more things to worry about than Ladoja, Adedibu or any politican involved in power tusslings.
True talk. But if the continuos power tussles persists, then poverty will be the least of our problems.
Christianity EtcRe: Battling With Sin And The World As A Christian by prettyH(f): 1:33am On Jan 14, 2006
Hi babycute,
Whats up? Na wa o. So there's gist. I didn't know bout ur new friend. Anyway this is what i think look before u leap. Don't make the same mistake with ur ex. No matter what this one says, make your stand clear as per what u want. Personally, i think for one who has had previous sexual relationships, it's difficult trying to stay away except with sheer determination. But just watch out and be careful and try to make the right decision.

FamilyRe: Husband and Wife in the same Profession? by prettyH(f): 5:31pm On Jan 13, 2006
allonym:
maybe lawyers and medical professionals are already crazy

I don't see how marrying another electrical engineer could possibly drive me crazy. I sometimes waste hours talking about some project or concept or idea with one of my best friends - same major, field, almost identical interests. . . I can't see how it would ever get to be too much.

I have family members who are married, same profession, and worked in the same organization. Since one was the founder, clearly the other worked underneath. I doubt they much problems with that arrangement.

I don't see how being in the same profession would affect time spent with children or housekeeping any more than being in different demanding jobs. Unless people are suggesting that one person be a lawyer and the other be a math tutor. . . there is going to be job combinations that would keep both partners away from the home at critical moments.

All the issues that were brought up should can be resolved by open minded clear thinking loving partners. If they are having major problems, the only issue I could see cropping up from working in the same place is that they take their arguments to work and it results in one or both of them getting fired.
Agree with u on this
PoliticsRe: Oyo State Governor Ladoja Impeached At Last by prettyH(f): 5:02pm On Jan 13, 2006
Honestly it really is sad that alot of crap is gonna go down in a bid to shake the political terrain in nija. Its also sad that certain persons think power politics is okay. Why would u run a state like ur private buz...hence totally disrespecting its indigenes. If such nonsense continues to happen, there can never be a democratically elected govenor in nija. I hope Oyo will have some peace after this.

I promised i wouldn't mess up this thread cos its not a debate bout religion but meant to be informative. If u think u aren't attacking then think again. Since u can't read , well i state it again, Jesus isn't a diety. If u say u don't give a rats ass bout ppls beliefs, then why are u defending cos i don't get it why not read and ignore. And moreover who's hating

BusinessRe: The 25 Banks That Achieved The Recapitalization Requirement by prettyH(f): 11:35am On Jan 13, 2006
I totally may not agree with Soludo's idea of recapitalisation but i was beginining to get fed up with number of banks that were springing up all over the country. Despite the fact that i don't support forced mergers and acquisitions( subcribing to Seun's reasoning), if this would strenghten the financial sector of the economy, then i am 100% behind the CBN's ideology. But then other questions arise, from my understanding of the recapitalization process, all banks must meet a 25bn capital base and those that do not are scrapped. Then what happens after that is what i do not get . How are banks to compete amongst themselves? Just heard rates of deposits have declined drastically so whats the incentive for depositing funds in the bank?In a bid to maintain their capital base, will loan rates not accelerate and deter meaningful entrepreneurs from approaching financial institutions for funds.

How can people be comparing Lord of the rings with Harry Potter. Lord of the rings wins hands down with a 10. Gosh Potter ain't all that.
