Hello Prettymi20

You do not need to wrap your head about a "Purpose of Visit" refusal reasons..

It is one of the easiest reasons to tackle even without ordering for GCMS notes..

But please order for your gcms notes, if you can (Recommended)
Thank you @makano, I have recently ordered for my gcms note, I hope I get it early though . School resumes in January

I'm planning on going to a bigger branch tomorrow but anyone that has been able to pay through them, kindly state how you did it. Thank you.
I was able to and I also used stanbic

Please is it advicable to reapply without ordering for GCMS not first? That is because school resumes in January and the note would take about 30 or more days . The next intake is September

So thinking of reapplying working to make a stronger case on home tie and purpose of visit.
For example, just working on all the concerns around purpose of visit.

If you have a masters degree but haven't worked in that line for over 10 years, how do you convince the VO that going for a PGC in your current employment is a reasonable investment?
Hello Prettymi20,

Sorry for your delay. don't relent ok. first, you need to order your GCMS note, so to get the real comment of the VO.

but then, from the generic refusal, is obvious you didn't prove enough home/economic ties to your country. so you need to in your next application, prove that you have enough ties to your home country. such ties like family ties, work ties. assets etc

As for purpose of studies, how well did you explain that your choice of study WILL lead to either career or academic progression even if you're switching from one field to another? Again, are you going for a higher course or course below what you already have?

So just order your note and then refire. it will surely end in

Thank you very much.

I have a masters in science but going for a PGC in business management because I have been a business manager for 5 years(my own business) I

Hello everyone, this is a matter of urgency. I intend paying my first term Seneca school fees tomorrow but I couldn't see Form A but I saw others like flywire,CIBC and western whom has higher rates. Is there anyone who has paid his/her Seneca college tution fee using Form A as my bank requested for Seneca account number. (Please note, don't private message me but simply state it on the general forum)
You can use either flywire or western union, it will still be at bank rate. You will use form A to pay to flywire or western union who will then credit the school account. Either ways it's still form A will fill and still at bank rate.

Although I’m not an expert in these things, I’d say you really do not need to buy past questions. I wrote my first and only IELTS in February and got highest bands across. I used ieltsonlinetests.com to prepare for Listening and reading. Then ieltsliz.com for speaking and writing. My one cent anyway.

All the best.
Please was this computer based or paper based?

Pls why are they saying Feb 9 2017 ( was this mail from last year?)

One can’t be too careful.
Thank you @tvegas too for your reply.

What do you know? LagosNIV just replied. Here’s the It mail below. Sorry for the lengthy post:

Thank you for contacting the U.S. Consulate, Lagos Nigeria.

Your visa is good until the day it expires. You can use it to request to enter the US until February 9, 2017. At the port of entry, CBP will then tell you how long you will be permitted to stay in the country. The visa for a visitor to the U.S. can expire while you are visiting the U.S, Further, you do not need a visa to exit the United States.

Please note that there is no legal requirement to inform us that you are seeking to give birth in the United States or that your purpose of travel has changed. The Customs and Border Protection, a branch of USCIS, determines a traveler’s eligibility of entry to the U.S, you should be prepared to demonstrate to the immigration officer at the port of entry why you are seeking medical treatment and that you have logistical and financial plans for the treatment. You should show the border protection agents upon arrival in the U.S. your detailed birth plan, which would include correspondence with your doctor, the cost of the delivery, any receipts showing prepayments for care and evidence that you have the ability to pay for all costs while in the U.S. up to and including your living expenses.

We recommend that you review the regulations on non-immigrant aliens entering the United States for purposes of childbirth at https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/882/~/visit-the-u.s.-while-pregnant-and-the-risks-involved and plan accordingly. Please you should not stay in the U.S. longer than you are permitted by Customs and Border Protection at the port of entry. The Department of Homeland Security at the port of entry will determine your eligibility to enter the United States on any travel.

If you choose to give birth in the U.S., we advise you to bring evidence of payment, both when you enter the U.S. on this visit, and at your future U.S. visa interviews.

Sincerely,

Thanks a lot

Yea, it's possible to stay for the period the CBP officer stamps you in; even though your visa expires during.

Read here
http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/ng-gen-faq.asp#qlistgen14

Q.14 My visa will expire while I am in the United States. Is there a problem with that?
No. You may stay in the U.S. for the period of time and conditions authorized by the Department of Homeland Security officer when you arrived in the U.S., which will be noted on the I-94, even if your visa expires during your stay.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Prettymi20: 3:06pm On Mar 26, 2018
Thanks alot for your response.

True and possible, except that the "6 Months" part is not exactly correct nor mandatory, that is, even if it's standard and the norm, you could be stamped in for lesser time too depending on the CBP officer you get to meet and the circumstantial considerations....
Goodmorning to all the wonderful people here. You have contributed a great deal and we all have learnt 1 or 2 things.
Please my question is
I have a valid visa that will expire in mid June, am planning to travel first week in June to stay till mid July. Some1 said I don't need to apply to renew the visa since they will stamp me in for 6 months that it's covers me even though the visa will expire.
Please how true is that?
